Obama is now in hot water for... oh my... trading five high risk Taliban members who were in Gitmo for a U.S. soldier who sent emails denouncing America and defected, and who have now rejoined the Taliban.

Water off a ducks back!

We like our republic, Stranger. It's worked for 240 years.

When the end result is that your country is exploding at the seams and about to fall apart into civil war because 1/3 of the country on either end HATES the third on the other end with all of their entire existence, to the point that some of them are saying they would rather be a member of an enemy nation (Russia) than one the other team (the Democrats).

You may think it worked, I see a failure that has taken 240 years to fall apart.

Stranger... I'm laughing at the superior intellect.

That's a mark of the low-intelligent - the lack the intellect to recognize just how low they are. I'm not saying you. I'm talking about every other person on the right other than you, as I would never directly insult another person on here going against the terms and conditions.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

At one point Obama said: "Here's the thing. Everything I say you can look up."

Oh, believe me, we have. Including all your own broken promises and lies.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Obama needs to stay quiet. He’s finished! We reject him.

he wasnt rejected he won two terms as POTUS.

Anyone who thinks lock her up is offensive just needs to mind their own business.

well then anybody who thinks what Obama has to say is offensive can mind their own bsuiness also.

Trump wants America to be the best because he’s a nationalist, not a globalist. God bless Trump!!

unfortunaelty one cant be a nationalist and walk over other countries and allies in the pursuit to be or stay the best, evenually those being walked over push back. History has shown nobody stays the best or biggest forever

1 ( +4 / -3 )

We like our republic, Stranger. It's worked for 240 years.

it certainly isnt the pillar of modern democracy as is constantly stated

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Serrano - worked?

Well some might say.

But the raggedy-man bedraggles in the end, and in state citizens dying to the tune of millions (2nd amend.) doesn't show me a place that's working.

Slowly sinking into the quicksand - or is that quicksilver - of flacid fibs, Trump's going to need more than a vine to cling to, to escape what Obama's on about in this article.

Yours sincerely, in anticipation.

Unfortunately ( for Hillary ) not enough people in enough states chose Hillary to win the Electoral College.

Yeah, it's too bad America is not a democracy.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

"And the people wanted that to continue, which is why they choose ( chose ) Hillary!"

Unfortunately ( for Hillary ) not enough people in enough states chose Hillary to win the Electoral College.

"the low-intelligence Trump supporters"

Stranger... I'm laughing at the superior intellect.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Yay Obama! Best president ever. Keep firing at Trump - Obama had a higher rating when he left than Trump has managed to get in two years. And the people wanted that to continue, which is why they choose Hillary!

I hope Obama keeps giving speeches if not just to annoy the low-intelligence Trump supporters who aren't able to understand all them big words.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Obama needs to stay quiet. He’s finished! We reject him. Anyone who thinks lock her up is offensive just needs to mind their own business. Criticism of Obama and Hillary are for them to defend. If Trump actually broke the law then we would expect he’d be in trouble, however the things Obama and Hillary are guilty of was to bring America down to make it socialist and the Trump would never bring America down. Trump wants America to be the best because he’s a nationalist, not a globalist. God bless Trump!!

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Please go away Barack Obama. I still don't understand how and why he won a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing except for being the first black American president. A real conundrum.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

He also said "These jobs just aren't coming back. What's he going to do, wave a magic wand?"

0 ( +5 / -5 )

At one point Obama said: "Here's the thing. Everything I say you can look up."

“If you like your insurance you can keep your insurance.” “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor,”. Look it up.

No, he hid (and is still hiding) stuff.

creditable evidence!? yep thought so.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Good Lord -- actual SANITY! Verifiable facts! Common sense! I had forgotten what they sounded like! Give us more, MORE!

the worst ever leader of America, bar none.

Not according to the American public. Nixon and Bush 2 are licking the bottom of the barrel according to approval ratings when leaving office. Carter is above both.

Surely Rump can make it a GOP hat trick in the hall of shame.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

That's a good question, Serrano. More than twice as high as the global median. I wonder why. Thanks for pointing that out. I would never have known that 73% of the Earth's population doesn't approve otherwise.

The 56 per cent level of confidence in Mr Trump measured in Kenya is more than twice as high as the global median of 27 per cent found in the survey.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

" Every nation will have their own stories of Trump and his negative impact on the world."

How come 56% of Kenyans ( yes, Kenyans! ) have great confidence in Trump then? Oh my...

https://www.nation.co.ke/news/Kenyans-have-great-confidence-Trump-survey/1056-4788624-12cu190/index.html

"the worst ever leader of America, bar none."

Nah, Barack "These jobs just aren't coming back" Obama took that title from Jimmy Carter.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Trump turns Americas focus inwards and the world see's American versus American in political madness. This is bad for America and sad for US allies. The only winners seem to be adversaries of America who step into a void created by Trumps disengagement of soft power.

No longer able or willing to lead the world, Trumps only card is to wield a big stick and see how it goes. Push your allies away and get chummy with your foes. This indicates a desire to move away from a free world to a dictatorship and basically become what your enemies are. Rightly so, many in the US object to such a move and speak out and there is upheaval. Trump wants the US to be his personal kingdom, and to be seen by his subjects as perfect.

History will tell the story, once Trumps time is past. His followers will write imaginary plaudits and everyone else will write what the have seen and felt and witnessed as the truth. Every nation will have their own stories of Trump and his negative impact on the world. There will be nowhere to hide from world condemnation as the worst ever leader of America, bar none.

Obama takes aim at Trump, GOP in fiery Milwaukee speech - Headline

"I've got a pen and I've got a phone...and I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions." - Obama

Sorry, the ink has ran dry, Mr. Pen Phone. Your overreaching executive orders have been reversed in totality and you really did not accomplished anything substantial in 8 years.

So, who should listen to you?

And, yes, you are the one who's lied to the American people. We will forever remember your lying catchphrase to sell Obamacare - "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor".

Shame on you, mister!

Try out for a comedy jig with Pikotaro - pen-pineapple-apple-pen, phone & pen. That'd be fun.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Everything an affirmative action president says must be considered as absolute truth - to think otherwise is discriminatory.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

serrano - thanks for your informative reply.

A beautiful massage of details that.

In fact that crik in my neck's gone and my wonky knees got a new lease.

Thanks. Nothing like a good massage.

Only prob with all your accounting is, for starters - way off topic.

I was commenting on how after Clinton gets sent a bomb, his baying pack cry out "lock her up" and he just smirks. And then, and only then, I said " what's with this guy?"

Obama - like him, dislike him, or hate him - but he's right on the money with this one.

Trump just lies. He does. Just bareface lies. And don't go on about the economy or poor people or world peace as a diversion, he just lies. And when he's not lying, he thinks his platitudes are like - wow, revolutionary. Look what I'm gonna do for all of you. Hook, line & sinker.

And please, save all the other "what-about-isms" for discussion when they're relevant.

This article is about Trump being called out for what he is - an habitual liar. He just can't help himself.

That's why I tune in. It's so funny.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Hey, Serrano - a trillion-dollar deficit, during an expansion! What's going to happen when the next recession inevitably arrives? Repubs already have their eyes on entitlements. I don't think they understand that those are primarily paid for by payroll taxes, so if the entitlements go, so should the taxes - unless they're need for up-bracket and corporate tax cuts.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Can you point to any changes at all under Trump that weren’t already happening under Obama?

free money to Palestinians; apology tours to other countries; dialogue with North Korea; black and hispanic employment historically high; illegal aliens being deported; 401Ks almost doubling; historically low unemployment; historically high consumer confidence..... I could go on but .......

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Bass: and slump of a stagnant economy that never saw 3.0% GDP

Huh? Obama saw 3% growth plenty of times.

As for unemployment, I’m seeing a massive spike under Bush and then a decline when Obama took over that carried into Trump’s tenure:

https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

In fact, if you cover the dates at the bottom you wouldn’t be able to tell where Obama ends and Trump begins. It’s the same straight line down.

One thing Trump has done is explode the deficit during a hot economy, nearly reaching levels under Obama, except Obama was paying for trillion dollar stimulus packages and record public benefits after the GOP crashed the economy.

Can you point to any changes at all under Trump that weren’t already happening under Obama?

4 ( +7 / -3 )

the Democrat platform - higher taxes, less jobs and more illegal aliens. Good luck with that

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Chances of war are less that’s an easy one. Trump isn’t droning people all over the world.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

are the chances for peace in Korea greater or less than at any time during Obama's presidency?

Were you told that the Korea's were at war during Obama's time? Your question should be, "Are the chances for war greater or less than at any time during Obama's presidency?"

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Hey Laguna, how's the economy doing for the year? Also, are the chances for peace in Korea greater or less than at any time during Obama's presidency?

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Republicans just couldn't handle a well-educated, well-spoken, intelligent African American in power. Much the same as they couldn't fathom a well-educated, well-spoken female in power. Obama was so good. Trump is a complete disaster and will go down in history as a malignant tumor of the US. Catch him early enough (i.e. the mid-terms) and you can excise the tumor before it metastasizes and spreads to the whole country.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

There are more than two parties. Stop voting for either. If you're conservative, there's the libertarian party and the constitution party; if you're progressive, there's the social democratic party and the green party. Break the bipolar cycle. Its easier to elect 3rd parties in congress, they can help break the electoral college's bipolar presidency later.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Hey, Serrano,

How's the stock market doing for the year?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

One must remember that the media can be a "double-edged sword" as both parties have found out. Money buys "time" and "content" on the air or letter, but "facts" and "truth" exist outside of the media's control, unless those facts and truths are manipulated. That is where "rhetoric" no linger becomes effective. That is why there are "actions" and "activities" that becomes the "content" without the facts and truths. They key to it all being to "control" "information" that have facts and truths.

Interesting to note that "both" Obama and Trump are "orators" of sorts, with masterful communication skills. One has ability to colorfully and indirectly "hint" at ideals while trying to distort facts and by misdirection using rambling storytelling to suite an appealing narrative. The other has the ability to "spark" controversy by "colorful", short and direct but "effective" presentation to get reaction and action not necessarily in his favor but forcing them to pay attention and think or feel about the topic and issue.

Other politicians have tries to copy both, especially Trump, to get the public on their side, using short and direct language to take action according to their agenda. That requires a base, the basis for their agenda to permeate the public mind. That is where Clinton and Obama plays an important role as with the educational system that they control in creating the atmosphere and the stage for others such as the media to spread.

Trump has no one to do that for him. He came in alone and stands alone with the public his only ally. Therefore he must rely on social media to keep his message alive.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Obama's greatest legacy was saving the economy from the abyss republicans shoved it into during Bush II.

And Trump Save is from the regulations and slump of a stagnant economy that never saw 3.0% GDP and record unemployment and full time jobs in the private sector with steel production up in the East Coast of about 14%. Now that’s a legacy even the strongest liberal can’t distort.

As an impartial observer of the "rats game", I personally couldn't give a rats - but it's good to comment.

No matter what shaky news Trump espouses, there's no doubting he's a few coins loose of small change.

I mean he's trying to "heal" the country with his flotsam & jetsam masquerading as inteligent comments, when the crowd of bayers erupt into "lock her up".

That's sooo funny. She got the bomb - and their lobes are still lobbing into stale rhetoric from 2+ years ago condemning her. And Trumpee says nought.

I mean what's with this guy.

It's gonna be soooo funny when he gets the flick like a piece of dandruff.

And I don't care. Really I don't. It's just hilarious. I want morE.

Who needs Netflix. This guy is for real - nyuk, nyuk!

". . . they have gone to Washington and just plundered away."

Exactly, spot on.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

It’s annoying when American #fakenews media use “fiery” to describe obama’s speeches. They do this all the time, despite the fact that his speeches are usually long, boring and always about him. In a recent speech, he mentioned his name 98 times, in a 1 and a half hour speech. But then again, his #NPC audience won’t even know the difference.

I always remind the #NPCs that in 2008, obama won the presidency, the white house, the nobel peace prize and a place in history book, he won all that for himself. The #NPCs that voted for him won nothing. It was so true. Since 2008, the #NPC party lost over 10000 elective seats, from city council, to mayor, to state legislatures, to governor and congress. They will lose again in two weeks.

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

Yeah, keep talking BS, Barack "These jobs just aren't coming back" Obama, you're driving more people to vote Republican than you are Democrat!

"I would like to hear Obama and other Democrat mouthpieces articulate a clear economic and border policy that will resonate with swing voters and the average worker."

Me too! But don't hold your breath. They don't have anything other than Orange Man bad!

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

Obama's greatest legacy is that under his watch, democrats lost more than 1,200 seats nationwide since the 2010 midterms.

When Obama stumps for/endorses a candidate, people vote for the other person. I hope he keeps on campaigning. It's change America Can Believe In.

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Trump tweet:

Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows - news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!

Yes. When one your supporters attempts to decapitate the Democratic leadership and the press reports on the '"Bomb" stuff' - well, that can be inconvenient. To be clear, Trump's actions likely influenced - but only so - this maniac. His response, though, speaks volumes: zero words of compassion for the intended victims, many words of self-pity and political plotting.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Lying is still bad, or no?

It’s bad. Is and always has been.

What’s Trump running at now? Six lies a day?

7 ( +9 / -2 )

I would like to hear Obama and other Democrat mouthpieces articulate a clear economic and border policy that will resonate with swing voters and the average worker.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

We stand with you... President Obama and Mrs. Obama and girls, President Clinton and Sec. Clinton, Vice President Biden and family, Mr. De Niro and family, Rep Maxine Waters and family, Sen Booker and family, Sen Harris and family, Dir Brennan, Dir Clapper, Mr. Tom Seyer , General Eric Holder and CNN, a beloved American Institution.

Thank you all for your service to the Nation.

The People are with you.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

The biggest tell as to his impact on voters today was buried in the 3rd paragraph:

Obama . . . told the crowd in a Milwaukee high school gymnasium . . .

Heh, wonder how many partitions they had to put up to make it look like he was talking to a "crowd".

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

you wouldn't hear the left pointing out his incompetence and incivility.

and Trump can make the same argument about the Dems and the media.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

If Trump were slightly competent and slightly civil, you wouldn't hear the left pointing out his incompetence and incivility.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Conservatives whined for eight straight years under obama and continue to whine about him

With Trump it’s been 18 months and still complaining, at least, they stopped complaining about Bush after 7 years, so we have a bit to go still.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Big GOP losses are coming. Obama shouldered responsibility for Dem midterm losses when he was president. Trump is preparing ground to spread the blame on all but himself.

Typical and expected.

13 ( +15 / -2 )

Conservatives whined for eight straight years under obama and continue to whine about him, so yeah, conservatives "just wait." You write your own material? It's hilarious. Sad too, but hilarious.

10 ( +13 / -3 )

No, because conservatives know the power of vote, just wait and our time will come.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

Notice the same posters that lack any substance are pushing the same trite falsehoods that Obama was divisive, weak geopolitically, etc.? They have nothing so they jump to emotionally driven lies. ROFL. Oh my. Smh. Har!

10 ( +13 / -3 )

Obama having had 8 years does nothing to change that fact that he does not encourage or condone violence unlike Trump. Let's try to stay on point. I know it's difficult when your knee-jerk reaction is to deflect or obfuscate, but I have faith in you.

10 ( +14 / -4 )

Notice Obama is not President anymore, notice Obama was a divider that believed it was his way or no way, notice Obama and Anita Dunn hated FNC and tried to get it off the air. Notice how he was weak geopolitically? Notice that blue wave is starting to look purple? Most importantly, notice how many of these candidates don’t get a bump up as much as he would like when he shows up to a rally?

-11 ( +4 / -15 )

He and his ideas got 8 entire years to produce results.

We prefer the results we are getting now. 3.5% GDP again. That Trump magic wand is strong.

-11 ( +6 / -17 )

Notice that Obama didn't promote any violence? Notice that what Obama said is verifiable? Notice how that is the polar opposite of the what the current idiot in the WH does?

Funny to constantly see the same fringe right posters always pushing the same trite falsehoods and conspiracy theories.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Do they have any policies? If so, what are they? Income redistribution, universal healthcare, abolish ICE, open borders? More regulations? Yeah, that’s a winning strategy for 2020

-8 ( +8 / -16 )

everything trump says the reality is usually the opposite
