" While liberals seethed, President Barack Obama saluted a new spirit of political compromise Friday"
By spirit of compromise they must mean letting former president Bill Clinton, who got hisself impeached, show Obama how to be a leader and basically be our co-president.

Or wait. Maybe 'new balance of power' is what they mean by more liberal-progressive Democrats than Repubs voting to extend The Bush Tax Cuts .

The same Bill Clinton who got reelected. Yeah him.
This was a sorry mistake. I'm disappointed. <:-)

Who knew that progressives were so fond of the Bush tax cuts. Politics is a funny business.

President Barack Obama signed into law a huge, holiday-season tax bill extending cuts for all Americans on Friday, saluting a new spirit of political compromise as Republicans applauded and liberals seethed.
Always knew those closet racist Liberals couldn't handle a black president after all.

Who knew that conservatives were so fond of almost-trillion-dollar stimulus bills and big debts.

Both parties better start cutting some serious slices next year, or the budget won't never be balanced.

you just said it - The budget won't never be balanced. Never ever will it be balanced.

The budget has been balanced most recently during the Clinton "Contract with America" years. We need Libs who are willing to pull the purse strings hard once again. In fact they ran a very large surplus.

LOL! The Dems must be racist, not to mention the Dems are fighting against a bill that also extends tax cuts to middle-class minority citizens.

LOL! Thank the Republicans, and the increased tax revenue as a result of the dot com bubble (guess what, it had nothing to do with the democrats - it was all wall street speculation. oops!!)
