Will he give them another iPod with his speeches on it?
Bebert61
I thought he gave them a bunch of DVD's last time.
manfromamerica
Bebert - he gave the PM the DVDs, he gave the Queen the iPod with the audio of his speeches.

So, some conservatives apparently appreciate UK involvment in American wars and then deride and make jokes about the US president visiting Britain?
Weird....

I thought he hated the UK. Anyway, I hope he enjoys his free trip there.

No reason for him to hate the UK. I hope his helicopters don't make a mess of the royal lawns like Dubya's did. Or that his goons ask to put snipers on the roof of Buck House.

He should stop by st pauls cathedral. It's worth seeing!!

sushi, you're waaaaay off. We're deriding Obama's complete disregard for the UK and his tasteless gifts.

During the ceremonial welcome perhaps the Queen will give him back the bust of Churchill.

the first lady made a strong impression on the queen.
Heh, the impression was so strong that she and Barack weren't invited to Prince William's wedding in April.

Oh great, next you're going to tell us that they weren't invited by Akihito to attend Princess Aiko's school play or kickball tournament.
Pres. and Mrs. Obama are visiting during the royal wedding honeymoon phase before the inevitable royal family scandals (Kate and Harry?) start.

Makes up for not being invited to Prince William and Ms Middleton's wedding. Anyway, a good gesture on the part of GB.
Trivia: doubt many of you out there can name the members of the G-8, let alone the G-20 without looking it up.

You're failing to include the extremely rare autographed Richard Rodgers songbook that the Obamas gave to the Queen on the same occasion. The Queen's favorite American songwriter, BTW, which I would count as a very special gift indeed. But I guess mentioning that wouldn't fit your thesis, that the Obamas are just bad people in every aspect.
