Now anonymous has posted a video about the new fingerprint technology being used in iPhones-http://9to5mac.com/2013/10/01/anonymous-claims-apples-touch-id-and-authentec-purchase-gives-nsa-access-to-fingerprints/ This is maybe a wake up call for more pressure to be put on governments to be more transparent and in controlling their spying agencies, The disturbing information is that the" Carlyle Group" crops up again and again in all investigative reports and whistle blower information on all the governmental spying programs.

the government shutdown that began Tuesday over a budget impasse is seriously damaging the intelligence community’s ability to guard against threats.

Well, at least the threat of being spied on by the NSA has been reduced.

And while I am not going to say that nothing will happen, if something does I think the odds it would have happened anyway are strong. I am not going to panic. I would be more concerned about dying in a car accident anyway. For that matter I would be more concerned about being arrested, tazed and beaten by one of America's many police agencies.

Okay, I actually feel safer thanks to the partial shutdown. Certainly my rights are safer!

Telling the truth slowly.

Little by little, the serial liars such as Alexander, Clapper, and other spies are confirming what those alleged to be tin-foil hatters have claimed.

More leaks will force more confessions from the likes of Alexander.

He said all employees were caught and most were disciplined.

How could he possibly know all were caught? Why were most but not all disciplined??

Who cares? Anybody (an ALT) who can be "randomly checked" 6 out of 7 times when leaving from Osaka or Tokyo, Japan, should not be paranoid. It just happens. The government already knows everything it wants to know about it citizens. Anyone who believe he or she has a private life is foolish.

"what those alleged to be tin-foil hatters have claimed."

Jean, everyone without the hat has known the technology has been there for 25 years...

Just wait until Google Glasses hit the streets, you should be more scared of "the search engine" than the gobermint.

They and nearly every other govt has been able to track cell phones for years, I thought it was common knowledge.

It's not the thing of fiction at all, I know for a fact some regular police forces have that capability easily at their disposal.

I usually turn off location sharing except for Google Maps and maybe a handful of other apps.

Yeah, well they have had the ability to hide behind my couch for even longer. Hardly means I should accept it and let them practice.
