Very sorry to hear the news. RIP.

The opposition believed that his term ended in February. With America’s colonial past and history of meddling in Central and South America, as-well-as the Caribbean, one must wonder if biden’s CIA may have had a hand in this atrocity.

Sad, but It's plausible, I wouldn't put it past them.

Haiti's been off the radar in recent years, but didn't Uncle Sam like their Mister President? We all know that if you don't cry uncle in Sam's backyard, you'll soon be dead man walking.

*The opposition believed that his term ended in February. With America’s colonial past and history of meddling in Central and South America, as-well-as the Caribbean, one must wonder if biden’s CIA may have had a hand in this atrocity. N*othing but hog wash, conspiracy theory! There is no benefit for the US to take our Haiti president. The country has been in turmoil for years it was reported that those who assassinated the president were speaking Spanish. Taking out the president would only send a flood or refugees in rubber rafts towards the US which is something the country does not need with the southern borders already being invaded.

Terrible. I hope the perpetrators are found and get justice.

Also, it’s amazing what Trump supporters will say to try and make Biden look bad.

Or do.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

The coronavirus situation had also contributed to turmoil in Haiti leasing to the assassination. Haiti rejected and initial shipment of AstraZeneca vaccine because it was deemed unsafe. The Biden administration had whispered that it would be sending a shipment of Pfizer vaccine to Haiti, but it still has not received that shipment.

What they need is a recovery olympics!

Never heard those freedumb-luvin' Cubans from Florida who have a long assassination rap sheet in the service of America's dark forces? Just sayin'.

You are sounding kind of socialistic there! As if CIA dirty tricks originated with Biden and the Democrats. Talking about America's colonial past is what Critical Race Theory is all about.

Agreed it is a theory. Misguided at best. Lunacy at the other end.

Isn't the president well protected? How is his home security so bad? And what the point of removing a person when there is always a replacement (vice president). Unless that person who will replace him has very different views concerning some of the nation policies.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

N*othing but hog wash, conspiracy theory! There is no benefit for the US to take our Haiti president.

None that we publicly don't know of.

The country has been in turmoil for years it was reported that those who assassinated the president were speaking Spanish.

And the Hatian's speak French, that doesn't mean anything other than the people that killed him spoke Spanish and again, they could be Americans, Dominicans, Spanish or just Spanish speaking, a lot of Israelis speak Spanish, all I am saying is, you can never rule anything out and just because it doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean that this is all a nutty conspiracy theory.

Taking out the president would only send a flood of refugees in rubber rafts towards the US which is something the country does not need with the southern borders already being invaded.

Which has always been fascinating to me, if you are from Cuba or coming into the US from the Southern border, you can come in by the thousands, if you come from Haiti, you're sent back. This is the US policy. So once again, I just don't think at this point, we should rule anything or any one government out until we know more.

This is how it was in the old day, No elections, No screwing around.

No. Haiti is near anarchy today due to a total failure of its government. Gangs are fighting each other and the government has no power to put them under control. Rather, the police forces seem to be controlled by gangs. It's a chaotic society under the controls of various gangs, not the government.

The country has always been a chaotic mess from inception. Not likely to change much now.

This has America's dirty fingerprints all over it.

Haiti has never been a stable and peaceful country since America's meddling in it for over a century.

Very sad. RIP.

Haiti is a jungle, when a beast eaten another beast, life goes on just not for everyone!

I wonder what Spike Lee thinks about this.

There was a shoot out with six suspects. Apparently Haitian security forces tracked then after they assassinated the President and stopped them. Four were killed and two were taken into custody. The assassins posed as DEA agents to enter the Presidential compound. They spoke Spanish and English. The thought seems to be they were hired by some of the wealthy Haitian business owners to get rid of a President who was doing nothing to stop the gangs who were destroying their businesses. In the past those same wealthy business people have hired armies of mercenaries to protect their business interests and personal homes so there is some precedent for this.

He arrested judges and police, was corrupt, was ruling by decree, and cancelled the election. Some folks decided to vote him out of office with guns.

Just another dead corrupt Haiti politician; nothing new.

Violence is never justified, whatever may be the reasons.

This looks likes Haiti's January 6th, only this time they succeeded!!!

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

a lot of Israelis speak Spanish,

A lot of Spanish people speak Spanish too, maybe Spain wants to take over Haiti!!!

That's just common sense, but tell that to the Haitians that have had a long bloody history with violence.

This looks likes Haiti's January 6th, only this time they succeeded!!!

Well, no it's not, this was a planned and calculated assassination, you're mixing apples and oranges, not to mention the people that killed him seem like weren't even Haitians.

A lot of Spanish people speak Spanish too, maybe Spain wants to take over Haiti!!!

This goes back to my point of the threat could have come from multiple places, including the US

I wish the libs, woke and progressive, had not set a violent precedent in reacting to political elections.

Good reading and indicative of the kind of mercenary nonsense that is financed by wealthy Haitians.

Traitor Don planned the Jan. 6 insurrection, he told his cult followers to come for a 'wild time'. He planned and engineered the coup attempt, just like these scum planned this assassination.

It must be mentioned that the neighboring nation next door, the Dominican Republic has Spanish as its official language. And relations between Haiti and DR have generally been rocky thruout history. I doubt if Spain or even the US is behind this but DR is a possibility.

Not really different.

Bigots and criminals mix well, they are essentially the same.Anyone who stands against Democracy is not American.

Sure, it could as well be Spanish speaking Martians. Why limit the ridiculousness only to Earth!!!

I would not disagree with that viewpoint.

Traitor Don planned the Jan. 6 insurrection,

And you especially spoke to him? So now YOU know something the Feds don't? And it wasn't an insurrection no matter how many times you say it or makes you feel empowered neither Trump nor any of these people will be charged with that by the DOJ.

he told his cult followers to come for a 'wild time'.

No, here is the direct quote the msm and the Dems leave out and Thank God for transcripts

"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard today."

That part for some odd reason is always omitted from the record.

He planned and engineered the coup attempt, just like these scum planned this assassination.

Again, you this for a fact and know more than the Feds because....

I am not so sure, the US government said over the years many things were they weren't involved and almost every single time, their fingerprints were all over it. All I saying is, you can't rule that out, it would be foolish to do so.

What do you think America has to gain from this assassination?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

The hit squad included mainly Colombians, along with two Haitian-Americans.

Not really surprised by that...Ok, that narrows it down, but now why?

bass4funk I am not so sure, the US government said over the years many things were they weren't involved and almost every single time, their fingerprints were all over it. All I saying is, you can't rule that out, it would be foolish to do so.

Granted, Clinton had the US invade Haiti in 1994 because the previous war in Somalia put egg on his face the year before. Somalia was an urban guerilla war and it was messy, ugly and embarassing. So when he had the US invade Haiti they kept the violent combat details all out of sight so he could strut like a peacock and then the very next year command NATO forces to pound the crap out of those fascist genocidal Serbian turds just in time before his reelection campaign started. They don't him 'Slick' for nothing.

Bush 2 had us invade Haiti again in 2004 because he didn't like Aristide and that too was kept in the dark.

Obama sent Marines and medics to Haiti after that 2010 quake and of course that's a feather in his cap no matter how you look at it. A win-win for him.

Haiti's history is clock-a-block with dictatorships, assassinations and overthrows. Nothing new to them.

It's different this time. Biden already nixed the idea of sending US peacekeepers there. And just because two of the assassins are Haitian-Americand doesn't mean that they have Joe's kudos. Joe has nothing to gain from doing anything whatsoever for Haiti, esp. since he's got too many US issues to handle. Those mercenaries acted on their own, Pres. Moise was a corrupt dirtbag but the US had no role behind his demise because there's nothing for America to win or lose from this.
