So more than 120 people ended up costing their precious lives for taking the leaking fuel? What a crying shame! RIP to all the victims.

This should never happened where fuel leaks the sensible thing would to be was go away as far and fast as you can.

Do not smoke or use a mobile phone.

The simplest thing like dropping a but in a bin or on the ground there could be combustible fumes or materials waiting for a spark or flame .

Avery bad accident made worse by those that were not there to assist the driver get away.

My sympathies go to all of the dead,s families and children.

They must of been desperate to try a stunt like that. Who would act like that in their right mind? Perhaps racing to save the driver, but surely someone, besides just the police should of said and tried to do something to stop it. Mob mentality perhaps?

The death toll was as bad as a coordinated Daesh or Taliban bombing... What a senseless loss of life. Hopefully no children were present, although that would also mean a lot of orphans...

John Brown,

"Hopefully no children were present, although that would also mean a lot of orphans..."

As the article states:

"The dead included men, women and children."

There were pictures of people standing in a deep pool of petrol filling their cans before the disaster. Petrol costs about $0.70 per litre in Pakistan. Even if you could fill a 20L jerry can you would only save $14, yet people are desperate enough to risk, and lose, their lives for that.

This is theifing! Any cargo truck overturns and dumped so many items on the road does not mean you local inhabitants has the right to pick up for your own! I dont feel pity for those  gas looters, they deserved this
