Thank you, NRA.

Practically in my backyard. Just a couple of miles away. Anywhere, any day, anytime. Gun toting society, good old US of A.

A recreational pursuit becoming ever more popular. Stadium seating perhaps to be employed for spectators.

Thank you, NRA.

Why ? The NRA does not support a position of guns in nightclubs.

They are against extended background checks. A .lot of it is their fault. Republicans like loose gun laws. It's the Christian way.

Whether the gun was legal or not background checks are not going to stop a criminal with a gun from entering a nightclub. (NRA backed) metal detectors and increased security are.

So according to the NRA we should have no background checks then and make buying guns as easy as buying a pair of socks. That's the NRA philosophy and they think the only solution is more guns. And more powerful guns like military class machine guns. The NRA also thinks teens should carry guns in case they are attacked and no parent is around. Teens do tend to hang out with no adult around. Who is going to protect them?

and increased security are

no.....

Police said four officers were working security in the club's parking lot (news source)

USA should have full gun registration. Works in Japan.

I don't want more armed security. It adds to cost. You want to enjoy carrying a gun around. Then you please pay for the strict registration for that privilege so the authority knows what person has what gun- then we won't need to much expensive security. How much extra did it cost the nightclub patrons to have those armed cops walking around? And it didn't even work. Didn't work in Orlando either (armed guards there)

What's so funny are people (on JT boards) who are for fully open gun laws but they end up coming to a closed gun law country like Japan. They talk about their guns back home like they are talking about their cool car they left at their garage back in their USA hometown. It's really comical. It just shows they often own gunS (plural) because it makes them feel like a man and shows they are lacking basic self esteem.

Since 2000 less than 5000 have been fatal victims of terrorism but in the same period there are more than 450,000 fatal victims of gunshots. Another sad gunshot event.

I agree that peoples fear of terrorism is irrational and the counter measures are consuming way to much of a limited resource.

It is sad really how people place such a priority on terrorism. There are issues of much graver threat like climate change and bacterial resistance.
