The outgoing CIA director charged on Sunday that Donald Trump lacks a full understanding of the threat Moscow poses to the United States

I think we all agree that Trump has a lack of understanding. The debate is mostly from people who don't want to admit. But we're all on the same page.

Priebus later acknowledged that conservatives — led by Trump himself — spent years questioning Obama’s eligibility to serve as president, suggesting he was not born in the United States.

Imagine if Obama responded to Trump and the nutjob birthers the way Trump has responded to Lewis. Night and day difference between these two men.

SuperLib: Imagine if Obama responded to Trump and the nutjob birthers the way Trump has responded to Lewis. Night and day difference between these two men.

You're not kidding. Bob Creamer's 300+ visits to the White House AFTER Obama gained the presidency should have told you that.

John Brennan’s pointed message on national television came just five days before Trump becomes the nation’s 45th president amid lingering questions about Russia’s role in the 2016 election even as the focus shifts to the challenges of governing.

“Now that he’s going to have an opportunity to do something for our national security as opposed to talking and tweeting, he’s going to have tremendous responsibility to make sure that U.S. and national security interests are protected,” Brennan said on “Fox News Sunday,” warning that the president-elect’s impulsivity could be dangerous.

What was Brennan doing for the Obama Whitehouse while the Russian, and Chinese, agencies were planting fake news stories, and interfering with the U.S. election?

NOW, he wants to warn the President-to-be that those Russians, and Chinese, are tricky and can't be trusted?

Whats with the headline? He hardly "ripped into Trump" Libs

Did Brennan mention the Chinese?

Or are we conflating the two to deflect from tough-on-China Trump's sycophancy towards Russia?

"Civil rights legend Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., is among several Democrats in Congress who vowed to skip Trump’s inauguration"

This is disrespectful not only of the president-elect but the presidency. Cripes, even Clinton and Bush will be there.

incoming White House chief of staff Reince Priebus said of Lewis on ABC’s “This Week,” insisting that Republicans did not question the legitimacy of President Barack Obama’s victory eight years ago.

but

Priebus later acknowledged that conservatives — led by Trump himself — spent years questioning Obama’s eligibility to serve as president, suggesting he was not born in the United States.

So, key Trump aide admitting that he lied. On top of that, Obama won the popular vote twice by wide margins and so did not need to rely on the perversity of the anti-democratic electoral college to get elected, unlike Trump. And that's before the Comey email intervention, and the Russian leaks of anti-Hillary data in support of Trump. So to equate the legitimacy of the two elected presidents is ludicrous.

I knew the establishment would use Trump's positive view on Russia against him but I didn't realize that they would go so low and dirty.

“I think it’s incredibly disappointing and I think it’s irresponsible for people like himself to question the legitimacy of the next United States president,” incoming White House chief of staff Reince Priebus said

Of course you'd say that, Reince. After all, it's the difference between you having a job or not, which is particularly poignant since you sold out everything you are and everything the US democratic process should be in order to stay on Trump's good side. Repugnant is too nice a term for Reince "cover my own a$$" Priebus.

Trump lacks a full understanding in all areas except how to piss people off. Unfortunately that won't work for a POTUS. He is going to get so bogged down blindly trying to defend his stupid, ignorant and embarrassing behavior, it will be difficult for him to get much done at all.

Saw an interview with CNN and Kelly Anne Conway.

She couldn't admit that the President Elect was briefed on the ex-MI6 agents reports, even though those who briefed him said he was briefed. She denied it because Trump denied it happened.

I read those reports and subsequent analysis. A lot of it didn't seem right after reading the analysis, but it left a lot of questions that should be investigated to make sure some of the things there were not true, e.g., meetings between Trump's advisors and Russia over the course of the election.

At least the cabinet picks don't seem as thick headed as Trump, his spokespeople and supporters. There are also Republican Senators who are not drinking the cool aide.

"Trump lacks a full understanding in all areas except how to piss people off."

He understands that Obamacare is a complete disaster, whereas Obama and Clinton don't, and he understands that we must defeat Islamic terrorism, whereas Obama and Clinton don't, and he understands how to create jobs, whereas Obama and Clinton don't, thus he got elected, we won and you lost, get over it and start supporting our new president.

"Only a fool would respect this clown"

Yeah, Dr. Ben Carson, Mad Dog Mattis and Rex Tillerson are real fools, lol.

@Northernlife"Only a fool would respect this clown."

Really ? Obama and his ilk tried to bash legitimate government of Assad in Syria, at the same time actively supporting various trash from Al Qaeda and calling them 'vetted moderate rebels". Only a complete fool tries to extinguish the fire by pouring kerosene in it.
