Rapist must not be treated juvenile.

3 years for rape and murder?
I don't particularly object to him getting a lighter sentence by virtue of being a juvenile, but 3 years is ridiculous. He killed someone in one of the most brutal ways imaginable.

India should rethink it's laws. This guy should have gotten life. What an injustice.

India, if it wants to be trusted, needs to rethink its rape laws!! 3 years?? Is life that cheap in India??

And that's another proof that we need to stop treating teenagers as children. They are not. We should realize that they are both capable and they should be made responsible.
As long as we treat teenagers as children, they will behave as such. Once we treat them as adults, giving them both rights and responsibilities, they will act as adults.

India is sending a bad image to the world audience that their criminal justice system has just failed.
The problem of India is an enforcement resource is not catching up with crimes.
