This has happen to every country anyway during their peak waves. Even here had happen when we suddenly experience a huge infection wave and all hospitals were full and near breaking point. China just gonna have accept it and let the infection run it's course like the rest of the world. If even India had manage to recover from their peak wave, then i don't see why the whole world is so suddenly concern about China. Is not like this is any big news or anything that we haven't witness or experience.

But 90% of the population is fully vaccinated with a "safe and effective" vaccine.

No, it is not, as widely reported someone that got two doses more than a year ago is counted as "fully vaccinated" which medically makes absolutely no sense, specially with the subpar vaccine the Chinese government allows.

The vaccination program has been a complete and utter failure.

In most places it is considered a huge success, what is a failure is the Chinese government that refused to push for vaccination and improvement of their health system even when having years to do it, contradicting the actual scientific recommendations of the experts of the wordl

Xi should have swallowed his pride and spent money on MRNA rather than locking the population up like rats and injecting them with saline solution posing as a vaccine.

What a joke of a Government. Anywhere else they'd be bought down and charged with Genocide.

@Bronco: Good to see you contradicting yourself in one post.

No, this is untrue as proven by global medical authorities.

Baseless appeals to authorities you fail to present, no global authorities support this as untrue.

Totally false, as country after country has seen high infection rates parallel with high vaccinaiton rates so no ine in the medical industry considers this a "huge success".

Ignoring something well reported do not make it totally false, it just makes you uninformed.

As proved by the references professionals clearly consider covid vaccination a huge success.

Did the disease suddenly get much worse just because it's in China?
