Fighto!
Fool me once - shame on you.
Fool me twice - shame on me.
Hezbollah have confirmed themselves to be the most incompetent and impotent terror organisation on earth.

Those kids that were victims have names, from occupier perspective they just another collateral.
One is Fatima Abdullah 9-year-old and Mohammed Bilal King a 11-year-old
https://www.aa.com.tr/en/middle-east/pager-blast-in-lebanon-put-an-end-to-8-year-old-fatimas-innocent-hopes-for-better-future/3334144
.
Do occupier prepare for another round of occupation, like they did in the past. Having a Palestine territory, just not enough?

Going forward it's doubtful the Internet-of-things, and high tech cars like those made by the Musk brand will be very popular in that part of the world.
WoodyLee
Lebanon health ministry reported 2 children were killed in the first wave of Pagers explosions an 9 years old girl and an 11 years old boy.
If this is not terrorism then I don't know what is!!
Rigging solar systems used in homes has only one purpose and that is to terrorize the general public.
Lebanon will get over this fast and Israel will continue to find ways to terrorize and instigate conflicts and wars in the middle east.
Capuchin
One theory that security analysts have is that explosives weren't planted in the devices but instead software is being used to cause the lithium batteries to explode. In a similar way to how the stuxnet virus was used by Israel to significantly damage Iran's nuclear program. If so, the possibility of being able to detonate any device with a battery, anywhere in the world, at any time has serious global repercussions.
The timing is also very suspicious. Just as the United Nations General Assembly voted to end the Israeli occupation within 12 months. The story has largely been buried. In much the same Israel sensationally tried to designate UNRWA a terrorist organisation just as the ICJ announced its decision on Israel's ongoing genocide case.

"Lebanon’s Minister of Health Firass Abiad has held a media conference in Beirut on the situation in the aftermath of the pager blasts.
Abiad said many of those carrying the pagers were civilians. At least 12 people have been killed, including four medical staff, an eight-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy."

Just as in Gaza and the West Bank, the US taxpayer-funded terrorist entity is murdering health care workers and children.
Wick's pencil
Air travel will suddenly become an even greater headache.
RichardPearce
That the first article covering JSIP'S Geneva Conventions violating terrorist attacks on Lebanon somehow neglected to mention the children murdered, the doctors and nurses who were injured by their own pagers and emergency radios while trying to treat patients shows an important problem.
Alfie Noakes
And just a couple of days after Ansarallah dropped a homemade hypersonic ballistic missile on Tel Aviv, a missile that flew 2,000km in 11 minutes, straight through Israeli defences.
Sanjinosebleed
Which is exactly Netanyahu's motive! He doesn't want peace! This was a terrorist action by a terrorist/war criminal govt! Killing civilians and children seems to be OK when it comes to Israel but not anyone else!
Supposedly the pagers were made under contract in Hungary one of the staunchest Zionist supporters in the EU. Hezbollah failed dismally not recognising this.
Sadly the losers on both sides will be the civilians.
John-San
Aifie I don't think you are realise how significant these exploding devices are. Capuchin hit it on the head with they able to get these thing to explode throught the software that no explosive where implanted. So I would back of the anti semitic talk just in case. I would cool it for a while or until Israel is totally destroy and by their latest action they need to be taken out as quick as possible.
WoodyLee
@ Capuchin'
""If so, the possibility of being able to detonate any device with a battery, anywhere in the world, at any time has serious global repercussions.""
We are in for a very ugly and dangerous precedence set by Israel.
RichardPearce
Netanyahu thinks that if he can escalate his crimes and attacks to the point of starting a regional war he can get Trump back in the White House...and sadly, he just might succeed.
But that isn't going to save his regime or even his 'state' from becoming a pariah, and then just another example of Inhumanity and hubris combining with disastrous consequences.
Mike_Oxlong
This is a real inflection point in time. We all carry devices. Now they are weapons any hostile government can use against us at will.
Aly Rustom
Speaking to Israeli troops on Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said, “We are at the start of a new phase in the war —
So he's admitting that Israel considers itself at war.
Absolutely! And I'm afraid that he may finally get his wish.
WoodyLee
Just imagine what would have happened if a passenger on an airplane was carrying one of these pagers??
This is as nasty as it could get.
Dango bong
oh the poor terrorists I feel so sorry for them....
Aly Rustom
Capuchin- If that is true, we may be seeing the end of smartphones and tablets forever as well as any device that has lithium in it as ANYONE ANYWHERE will be able to do the same thing to ANYONE ANYWHERE else in the world.
I really hope that's not the case.
Dango bong
So he's admitting that Israel considers itself at war.
Strangerland
Damn. This attack by Israel is strategically devastating. They took out the entire communications network overnight - how can they trust ANY devices after this? Not to mention the actual enemies they took out.
May this war end soon.
Aly Rustom
The nutjob in the region is Israel.
And its supporters
Aly Rustom
You feel sorry for Israel?
Chabbawanga
If Mossad can do this to pagers and other equipment used by Hezbollah, then just imagine what they can do with technology being used by US and European politicians. Now ask yourself why so many politicians regardless of their politics support Israel so unquestionably.... what does Israel have on them?
WoodyLee
It's only a matter of time before other TERRORIST states and Organizations learn and start implementing similar methods, Israel has just opened a can of warms, so buckle up boys and girls.
Aly Rustom
Its only a matter of time before others get that technology. Then what? we all ditch our phones and tablets? what other devices have lithium in them?
Sanjinosebleed
I can't help but think if this was the other way around the western media would be baying for blood and complaining about the poor Israelis and focusing on the children's life's lost. As it is now nearly every article says the children who were murdered were Hezbollah children so that must be fair play???
Disgusting hypocrisy!
Another war crime by the latest war criminals!
Geeter Mckluskie
That's been clear since Oct. 7...crystal clear
Aly Rustom
This didn't start on Oct 7
Geeter Mckluskie
Would that be so bad? We are all slaves to our devices at this point in time. Perhaps a return to simpler times would behoove us all
Sanjinosebleed
You mean Netanyahu and his gang???
Aly Rustom
That's true and I've often thought so myself, BUT the world economy has become dependent on these devices and a quick stop cold turkey could hurt the world economy even more and cause more inflation and economic hardship
Some dude
Its only a matter of time before others get that technology. Then what? we all ditch our phones and tablets? what other devices have lithium in them?
There would be a sort of irony there. Human ingenuity led to the creation of such devices, and the human propensity to ruin everything it gets involved in will lead to them being weaponised, both figuratively and literally.
Aly Rustom
excellent point
Blacklabel
This is a great tactic to keep the critical comms of a terrorist group in disarray.
but as with everything this will lead to governments using it improperly next time.
Geeter Mckluskie
The escalation did.
Geeter Mckluskie
Granted...but let's not pretend that's gonna happen
wallace
Innocent victims were killed or injured with many losing an eye or even both.
Geeter Mckluskie
Tragic but true. That said, everyone on these pages have been calling for more strategic strikes that involve less collateral casualties. Let's concede that...how many innocents killed or maimed in this incident...is far better than 42,000 plus innocent civilians
Dango bong
Let us shed a tear for militant terrorist murderers who were injured in this incident....
stormcrow
This is all like something straight out of a 007 movie. It scares me to even think this, but what could this lead to in terms of terrorism?
u_s__reamer
The Israelis (& frendz) have now injected more anxiety into our experience of boarding an airplane. Something must be done asap about state terrorism, the most deadly form of terror claiming by far the most victims. New methods of enforcing international and humanitarian laws must be found to stop governments committing acts of terror that have grown exponentially since 1914 enhanced and accelerated by science and technology. The authors of state terrorism must be deterred by the most draconian means afforded by law. Btw., not yet heard any condemnation of exploding devices from the usual hypocrites in the West who cry "terrorists" whenever it suits their agenda.
kurisupisu
Israel has showed the world a glimpse of a very possible dystopian future.
Whether rigged with explosive or a virus to accelerate battery warming and then to explode is presently open to debate.
However, what is obvious is that the ubiquitous mobile device now has the potential to become a lethal weapon.
This fact won’t be lost on ANY government that seeks to control their citizens.
Chilling!
wallace
Putin must be wondering how he could use that.
Geeter Mckluskie
America beat them to the punch, first with nuclear weapons which they aren't hesitant to use, then with their killer robots called drones
Capuchin
I'd say Israel more closely resemble a modern day supervillain than superhero.
Genocide investigations, war crimes warrants, illegal occupations, over 2,000 infants killed (under 2 years old) out of over 18,000 children.
Maybe someone does need to tear the purple pants off the Joker before all notion of international rules based order is blown up with 2,000lb bombs.
Fighto!
As much as I despise Putin and Fascist Russia, they have had the ability to implant micro-explosives in devices for decades. This is certainly not new to them, nor is it an invention by Mossad as some are suggesting. Using it on a mass scale is, however.
The Ripper!
Pure brilliance.
Another effective way to eliminate terrorists with minimal if any civilian casualties.
Aly Rustom
No it didn't. Israel has been killing people in Gaza nonstop before all that.
Aly Rustom
It might.
owzer
Mossad doesn't want to attack US. They are attacking terrorists - and with pinpoint strikes that while caused some collateral damage, are extremely well targeted!
Besides, Mossad likely doesn't have ability to get rigged equipment into the hands of people outside of countries like Lebanon that host Hezbollah.
Fighto!
It beggars belief how dumb the leadership of Hezbollah is.
Any organisation with a few brain cells between them would have banned the use of devices after the incident with the exploding pagers, to protect their chain of command and members.
Not stupid Hezbollah.
WeiWei
That is not the case. Just like in the uranium sentrifuge - case, explosives were hidden in the devices before shipment. In this case, the place where it was done was already pinpointed by the news.
wallace
In the future Hezbollah will checking its imported devices.
Geeter Mckluskie
Look at any photo of Gaza prior to Oct.7...then post. Then tell me that there has been no escalation
spinningplates
Apart from everything else in this trajic turn of events…..
THAT is the end of flying with any electronic devices.
justasking
It is terrorism. But why this reaction when Hamas supporters were quiet when Hamas and Hezbollah are doing it?

Somebody's electronics manufacturing company stock should be crashing. Atleast, they will losing a lot of future sales.
How long before the company changes its name?

"Lebanon rocked again by exploding devices; 14 dead, 450 injured."
Whether we are for or against, Israel still have brilliant population. And here and now the Internet of things turns into all purpose home bomber vest. The intelligence of self destruction with men/ women is just mind boggling.
Raw Beer
I doubt these terrorists will only use these exploding devices against the Lebanese, Palestinians, and Iranians.
Any one of us can be targeted by these terrorists.
Aly Rustom
go google Israel mowing the lawn and then post.
Like I explained to you, the escalation happened before Oct 7
Unless it only counts when it happens on the Palestinian side
RichardPearce
The implications for every 'Western' cell phone, pager, radio, computer, laptop, and tablet company are going to be severe. How many people will trust that JSIP or American 'aggressive' 'security agencies' won't be able to get into their supply chain and insert 'tampered' products aimed at any organized opposition groups.
Basically, all the efforts to demonize and denigrate Chinese companies now sound pretty sinister, don't they.
Hervé L'Eisa
EVERY person killed by Hezbolla on October 7th and afterwards was innocent. The vast majority of the Hezbolla people killed in recent days have the blood of the victims of the Jewish victims on their hands, and it's unfortunate that some likely innocent people also paid the price of having Hezbolla amongst them.
Raw Beer
Many years ago, Iran captured a CIA drone flying over its territory. And they have since become a large producer of military drones.
I doubt that all the modified explosive devices have exploded. I suspect they are studying the remaining ones and will soon produce their one versions.
Open-minded
Richard Price...This was an Asian company selling to other Asians.
The only Westerners in this operation was "Israeli" who are mostly converted Europeans.
Chabbawanga
Lets apply your own logic here
"It's unfortunate that some likely innocent people paid the price for having IDF amongst them on October 7th"
Both are examples of indiscriminate killing of innocents. No double standards!
Geeter Mckluskie
OK...There has been no escalation since Oct. 7. Tell that to the 42,000 plus dead since that day
Geeter Mckluskie
as opposed to burning the lawn to the soil completely...perhaps a cursory glance at a dictionary might be suggested here
owzer
Sorry to hear that a few innocents died.

It is not the US or most Western governments that consumers need to fear!
Asians selling electronic devices to other Asians with Israelis as the middle men!

The Israel institute for Intelligence and Special Operations came up with a brilliant plan. I mean other than doctors, who uses pagers? Those who do not want to use smartphones. This is intelligence at its best.
The intelligence, perspicacity and far sighted vision of the Communist Party of China is also brilliant. They are fighting cyber warfare and doing very well.
A decade and a half ago, China managed to gradually develop its own indigenous system and are almost entirely safe from any predatory attack from the West behind their own firewall.
The Great Wall may not have kept all the foreign barbarians and nomadic invaders out in the first century, but two millenniums later, no Google, X or Meta to collect and send data or to plant software worms into Chinese systems.
No GPS to map and send parallel coordinates; China has their own BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
No IBM Servers for central banks and airports and bureaucrat offices and no Intel processors or AMD processors since June 2023. They are ahead of the game.
Aly Rustom
No one said that. Don't twist my words. I said the escalation started BEFORE Oct 7 not on that day as you claimed
Aly Rustom
Either way they were killing people before.
perhaps a cursory glance at the history of the region might be suggested here
theFu
Hezbollah doesn't like when they are terrorized? No? I can't believe it!
Exactly.
Normal war methods aren't working. Hamas and Hezbollah just send more people to die. Aim for the leadership tiers - you know the guys that don't go near any weapons but handle communications, logistics, and funding. Take them out as selectively as possible.
These 2 terror organizations have been allowed to exist far too long.
Open-minded
The third and fourth organizations are the Zionist in the Israeli government and the illegal settlers!
MontiePieThong
Sadly the State of Israel is sinking further into a depraved State, carrying out acts of terrorism as it seeks to create and drag others into a wider conflict. Israel carries out its genocide of Palestinians, forcibly relocating them, stealing their lands, killing their women and children, bombing schools, hospitals and refugee camps and western allies sit back and do nothing and ignore the opportunity to condemn them in the UN by abstaining from important votes. Gutless leaders with no conscience. Of course Hamas should be condemned but so should Israel. I am disgusted by what they have done in but I am equally appalled by Israel.
John
A whole generation of terrorists are going to need surrogate sperm donors.
Geeter Mckluskie
I get that you want to absolve the Palestinians from having any hand in the escalation...but the fact is there's been an escalation in the conflict since Oct.7...and that Oct. 7 was the catalyst for THIS particular escalation
Aly Rustom
That's a completely different discussion that we should probably have privately as its not as black and white as that.. so let's leave that one aside for now.
I agree with that 100%. But that's TOTALLY different from your first post which was

When the terrorist is introduced to a victim that will never surrender. will retaliate, exact harsh retribution.
Such actions, in the most ruthless terms can take the form of unimageable unsuspecting brutality.
Hezbollah screaming in agony, is a sound long overdue.
Zaphod
Another biased article. Are now supposed to feel sorry for a couple of dead Hizb-Allah terrorists? It is not like Hizb-Allah is a lilly-white, innocent, humanitarian project.
In the event, this should be a reminder to all our smartphone addicts that every lithium battery is a potential firebomb.
carpslidy
Every terrorist in the world now has a blueprint to bring down an airplane
I expect all electric devices will be banned from flights in the next year.
Thanks Isreal

Had not thought of that. Dang there goes inflight wi-fi now.

There was no one at the Gold office in Hungary.

Um, no. These were specifically “modified” with plastic explosives as a detonator.
You can’t rig a lithium battery to spontaneously explode. It requires a detonator.
