Taliban has its safe havens in Pakistan.

Quetta Shura is composed of the leadership of Taliban and is based in the city of Quetta, Baluchistan and was/is backed by Pakistan's ISI.

This border fencing is a farce because this should have been done 20 years ago, not today when Taliban is expected to take over Afghanistan and there are no Americans to chase them back into Pakistan. For Pakistan, this is mission accomplished.

Too late now for Afghanistan.

That fence will definitely keep people out, just like the fences and walls in Israel don’t keep put Palestinians.

Err, actually they do. Why do you think Egypt keeps a strong border wall to Gaza?

Pakistan’s military said Tuesday it has completed 90% of a fence being constructed along the border with Afghanistan, vowing to complete the project this summer.

Considering that Pakistan has been a safe haven for the Taliban for 20 years, it is about time this fencel and the wall on the Mexican border is completed.

Somebody should tell the Pakistani government that walls dont work. Where are our media, where are our open-border advocates?

Interesting that the bar as Pakistan for decency and how things are supposed to be for America. Aiming high aren’t you.

That fence will definitely keep people out, just like the fences and walls in Israel don’t keep put Palestinians.

Since you brought it up, that is a good point. Israel built the walls to keep out Palestinian Arabs who were committing terrorist acts, and after the walls went up, those attacks decreased dramatically.

Similarly, Pakistan is trying to keep out Islamic terrorists by building the fence. Great of you to acknowledge the Palestinian terrorists who have been kept out of Israel.

Pakistan says it is constructing the fence to prevent cross-border militant attacks.
