Sorry Pakistan, should the US drones leave (which I don't mind) I hope all other assistance aside from humanitarian volunteer groups proceed to leave as well. Pakistan is also the wonderful group that warns an area ahead of time there are going to be airstrikes. The US needs to build their relationship with India rather than Pakistan, and Afghanistan can't clean up their own mess even if the US leaves which means there will still be border hopping from terrorist groups between Pak and Afghanistan.

Why doesn't Pakistan request that the U.S. stop sending it Billions of dollars in aid as well??

@toguro Pakistan should know that dollars come with drones :) US will reject and continue to strike militant hideouts in Pak.

BV, did they shell after being fired upon or no? See the thing is that with the predator drones, they don't fire after being fired upon. They kill and ask questions later, or not ask questions at all.

Also, I am not sure if you realize, but Pakistan is also trying to protect its sovereignty from Afghani Taliban and not just the U.S.. Again, not sure if you realize, but the Taliban has actually taken military control of parts of Pakistan with Taliban coming over the border. See, if the Taliban had taken California, I would not be as hard on American reactions. But acting like America and Pakista are in the same boat with regards to Afghanistan is about as loony as it gets. Pakistan is actually under attack from Pakistan. America was never attacked by Afghanistan, but rather by a terrorist group whose leader was executed and all others involved seem to be dead. America is under no threat. Pakistan still is.

@some14some: I know, I was being sarcastic with my question, but making a point. :)

WashingtonPost is reporting that Obama has caved to the pro-Al Qaeda Pakistani gov't and security forces and idled our drones in Baluchistan.

Shameful.

Lieberman2012,

About time Osama (oops l mean Obama) stopped launching military strikes against his supposed allies? Maybe it finally sunk in that they where doing more harm than good but l doubt that sort of logic would occur to most rabid pro US people /

US cant build relationships with India, because India has a pact of friendship with China, and China forbidden India to cooperate with US.Even if India didnt have such an agreement, India wouldn't cooperate with a country such as US, because they saw what they have done to Paki.By the way, humanitarian volunteer groups are sponsored by UK, not US.

Well it looks like Washingtons arrogance has finally come back to bite it in the rear end. This was always going to happen as the US kept ignoring Pakistan's requests. Cant really blame the Pakistani's after all the US's ignoring of the Pakistani requests and repeated attacks are just making Pakistan all that more unstable. Well done America you have done it again...

I guess its too much for Pakistan to request that America fight this war in a way that has a chance of succeeding, you know, since they took that aid money. Blowing up any random person with a gun using mechanical monstronsities only ensures America loses the moral highground. Oh, maybe not in your mind, but you are not Afghani or Pakistani are you? Pakistan is pointing out what is best for both countries. It won't help Pakistan to assist America in its vulgar use of war toys.

Pakistan has been shelling Afghanistan lately. You know, randomly killing innocent Afghans. I am pretty sure chewsitup will find a way to blame anyone but the guilty party.

So NATO and the ANA chases its problem into Pakistan and shells and attacks Pakistan and when Pakistan fires rockets back into Afghanistan people complain. OK !!!!

Actually I meant Pakistan is under attack from Afghanistan is under threat from Afghanistan. America isn't. The only reason Americans are getting attacked in Afghanistan is because they refuse to leave.

Hopefully whoever takes office in Jan 2013 will impress upon Pakistan what Obama can't. Rick Perry would definitely set the Pakistanis straight.
