Pakistan says 'Do not panic (now)'. But, US/UK must act now before it is too late to regret even.

[Taliban militants said that pact was “worthless.”] A pact with some group who get into power with AK-47s is truly worthless I agree hypocrites. Give an inch and they'll take a mile. Get rid of these "freedom fighters" now!!

I'm in agreement here and amazement that some1 actually is calling for US/UK to do something. I thought they were the root of all evil... Is he really wanting something to be done about these Taliban but wants a good ole fall guy to blame when things don't go well? Who ya gonna call? Not Ghostbusters.

when they will knock on your door will you also say "do not panic" Qureshi?

Well, saying don't panic is a lot better than saying the Taliban isn't that bad.

“We have now a common enemy, and we’ve devised a common strategy to deal with the enemy. ... We will not surrender, we will not capitulate, and we will not abdicate.” Wow, I couldn't agree more! I just watched the Taliban in Pakistan shoot a man and a woman down like dogs saying it was "Allah's will" because they were adulterers, despite their pleas of innocence. They then proceeded to riddle the man's body with AK-47 fire as it lay on the ground. Now, I'm a bit of a Jeffersonian, as I think that religion and government should be separate, whatever the stripe of either. This horrific video brought home to me the absolute insanity of radical religion, in this case Islam on speed. I must agree with the Pakistani officials. Indeed, don't panic. Just do whatever it takes to drive these lunatics back over the border and let the forces of reason deal with them as they may, even, to the point of their misguided fighting to their own deaths. I've said it before and I'll say it again: "The greatest evil in this world is fundamentalism." That's my official fatwa!

don't panic unless you're a woman in Pakistan and then you better start to think about leaving the country.

its the same story since the start of time. now its time to wipe out these animals with superior technology. anyone who disagrees is a big time potential extremist suicide bomber. after the muslims, its time to get rid of the christians and jews. is there a common thread here? could it be something to do with religion?

"could it be something to do with religion?"

Extreme religion perhaps. Some people need their religion to remain sane; and as long as they aren't infecting me with it, and it has no say whatsoever in government matters then us atheists must remain tolerant.

But I agree in principle about wiping the Taliban out. Gas the bastards.

Yes the world will want the USA to wipe these guys out. Just so they can have someone to blame for any later trouble. Well the USA is used to the abuse. Let's get started with this job of genocide on fundamentalist religion.

"Let's get started with this job of genocide on fundamentalist religion."

I'm all ears for another solution to the taliban....
