Well I hope this is true. Anyone who sends out legions of suicide bombers deserves such a fate.

Hopefully they can also locate the position of the meeting which the other Taliban are supposed to have scheduled and wipe out that lot with one shot as well

Would they mean shot by a missile ? Good luck in identifying the pieces !

I think they mentioned somewhere that two missiles were fired at that house simultaneously, so they must have had some good reason to believe this fellow was holed up there.

frontandcenter - You're back! You're not actually supporting the CIA , are you? It seems as though you are!

Good to see that they got this piece of work......Bravo Zulu

I like the fact that we are placing more assets where they need to be.....

One less jerk to worry about.

Thing is, if they are any fighting force, they already have a new leader.

Next.... < :-)

This leader of the beastly Taliban was killed by Americans who shouldn't edven be there!!!

The Taliban were supposedly beaten and BInLaden dead about 7 years ago, but the opposite is true. The region is more dangerous and ghastly than before the silly American invasion.

A lot of people were upset about a Taliban leader's wife being killed the other day. Wasn't she supporting terrorism by being married to this scumbag?

It's amazing what the radical Left will convince themselves of.

Make your mind up: do the women in the Taliban have all the rights and privileges of their sisters in the West (including the right to choose who they marry), or are they downtrodden, uneducated skivvies who America is trying to liberate by invading their country?

it wasn't a Taliban leaders wife it was this Taliban leaders wife. They died in the same attack.. Assuming she married him freely and knew what he was doing, and was able to leave but did not, she was supporting him,but its the Taliban were talking about i doubt whether she had any say whatever in the matter, whether she supported him or didn't.

Frankly, I look for the USA to put nuclear warheads on these cruise missles and address them to whom it may concern. So, I feel this action could bring about something we just don't want to see, especially in my time.

Before the Taliban were pushed/moved out of Afghanistan and into Pakistan, Swat was considered a haven for foreigners and local holiday-makers. In particular lake Saiful Muluk.

Don't think the President will authorize the release of nukes. It would take a whole lot for him to be forced to use them. Now not saying a small yield warhead would not be a nice site exploding over a Taliban training camp. But, I really do not think he would release any at this time.

The Taliban were ruling the entire country of Afghanistan before the American invasion. Seems to me that was far more dangerous.
