Why and by whom are photos being doctored without explanation?

it seems suspicious…

Whatever, the important thing is her health. Happy Mother's Day to her and all the mothers in England!

Exactly. Leave the poor woman alone, and if a 'doctored' photo can cover for her in the meantime, well, that's just fine with me.

It's not the first time.

Could have been the royal photograph polish-upper just doing their job. Thanks AP, someone's newly unemployed and now royal photograph polish-uppers everywhere are living in fear.

Only England? What about the rest of the UK? Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.

No one trusts anything that comes out of the British royal household. Certainly they are not endearing themselves to their subjects through all this deception.

Prince Andrew stepped back because of his friendship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Not exactly true.

He stepped back because of serious sexual misconduct with a minor allegations his mother paid £12,000,000 to go away.

All this deception? Care to elaborate?

Look no further than the headline.

The "family photo" has unequivocally been doctored.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Oh no! Before now, no photo ever released publicly has ever been doctored, airbrushed, filtered, CGI'ed or altered in any way ever! No fashion magazines, health magazines, weight-loss programs, recruiting posters, bodybuilding magazines, Instagram posts, school pamphlets, travel brochures, advertising....

Not the first time of what @wallace? I haven't seen these accusations levelled at our beloved Royal Family before. Have you? Proof please.

..is your art rendered online EXACTLY as it would appear on my wall should I purchase from you?

It's not the first time Photoshop has been released. Recently one had Louis with a missing finger.

I don't get why it's such a huge news story - I don't even know what the speculation about her health is... why do the conspiracy theorists think the photo was manipulated? I mean so what if the hands have been tweaked... does the real photo show six fingers?

You can see the photo at the link below:

It doesn't seem such a big deal. Maybe some reptile skin was showing through on the original.

Ok altogether now .....

'Flash, bang, wallop, what a picture

What a picture, what a photograph

Poor old soul, blimey, what a joke

Hat blown off in a cloud of smoke

Clap 'ands, stamp yer feet

Bangin' on the big bass drum

What a picture, what a picture

Um-tiddly-um-pum-um-pum-pum

Stick it in your fam'ly album

The media love a circus, Willy and Kate are on hand, for all to snigger at. seemly unable to stand/sit in front of a camera and say cheese.

The Princess of Wales has admitted editing a photo of her and her children to mark Mother's Day and issued an apology for any confusion after it was accused of being manipulated.

The latest news that the Princess of Wales has admitted to 'editing' the photo makes things worse by its lack of credibility. Why would she edit the picture to do things like make the hands blurry or to introduce a misaligned hand on her daughter? It's an absurd explanation.

Our old friend the Streisand Effect once again pays us a visit. It is obvious what the issue is. How about just being open and honest about it.
