I'm no Palin fan, but this article is pretty rotten.

Canada socialized health care began in the 1940s and was in full swing by 1961 - long before Palin's dad traipsed across the border.

To the nearest hospital.........Gawd what a rotten Father.

"Palin said she used to cross border for Canadian health care"

She used a train.

Yeah, back when Canada actually had quality medical care, people did go to Canada. Then they decided to go the socialized medicine route, and now those who can afford it, head to the US to get treated.

And when was that? You don't know, do you?

What a crock and talk about media bias on display. It's so bad that they actually have to use an excuse in the article as to why they even went to the trouble of printing this once again negative trash story on her.

Palin’s health care history, even when she was a child, is of interest because of her criticism of Obama and other Democrats working on reforming the U.S. health care system.

Pathetic A.P, just pathetic.

I agree, this article is trash, but you guys should read it before you blame Obama for it. It's AP, just saying.

Even my most ardent Obama Care supporting friends are hyping how childish of an issue they are making about this.

Besides, who doesn't want cheaper health care? The Obama care is hardly something that is going to make it cheaper for us as a whole.

Obama's Ministry of Truth (aka, the MSM) has to come up with something to make their hero look good.

They're more interested in examining and demonizing what Palin - now a private citizen - did as a child than examing as honest adults what president Obama, leader of his party and the country, is trying to pull off.

this spin is insanely thin and pathetic.

True dat. But with ObamaCare dying on the vine, Obama's Ministry of Truth (aka, the MSM) has to come up with something to make their hero look good.

For once I agree with Helter. This is a non-story. The nearest doctor was in Canada and you would be an idiot to go 145 to Juneau when you kid has an infection, especially when the planes are not regular and driving is no an option. Welcome to Alaska. The Russians sold it to us for a reason. Seward was laughed at for buying it for a reason. This story is a trap, and if you fall in you are either dumb or you did not read the article. Don't believe the hype people. I hate Palin, but this spin is insanely thin and pathetic.

Shocking ! Sarah Palin's father crossed the border (back before Canada had socialised medicine ) in order to get the best treatment available for his children. And he did this TWICE!

And in the 1960's no less. C'mon, even the libs have to admit this non-story is trash and illustrates MSM bias.
