That was the deal Trump's lawyer offered nearly 30 years ago

Throughout his life Trump has consistently shown he's not to be trusted in business, politics or any personal dealings. Trump's the poster boy for the art of the con. And the idol of millions just like him.

He’s not an employee. He has no duties. He draws no salary.

He is a member and thus subject to the rules.

Hold him to his agreements and disallow him from soiling your good neighborhood.

Probably not.

He is not a member nor employee, he owns the club and thus can not live in it.

The classic move of posting a link to a completely irrelevant article. Funny stuff

Hardly, meaning that Trump has a lot of pull in Florida unlike in NYC where he had no clout, so Trump prevail in Florida, there is definitely a good possibility.

New Yorkers know him too well.

Rick Scott couldn't even look at the monitors during the impeachment trial today, so scared and knowing of his own cowardice. It's no surprise he'll shelter a like-minded coward and moron there.

To some extent, this is a moot point as Trump is going to spend his elder years as a guest of the state and/or the Federal govt. As I love to say: Trump Tower Leavenworth! Room for the whole family!

Moreover, in terms is seizable assets in a bankruptcy proceeding, Mar-a-lago is at the top of the list. I’m guessing the new owners won’t take too kindly to an orange squatter.

Requiring him to leave, depending on his subsequent choice, could put the local police and the Secret Service both in an awkward position. Would the police try to evict him? Would the Secret Service let them? Would a court order him out? Interesting scenario to ponder.

He’ll only be there for four years until January 2025 when he moves back into the White House.
