Did not see this coming. I thought America was the worst at handling the pandemic.

Did not see this coming. I thought America was the worst at handling the pandemic.

Nice try with the False Equivalency!

Even fifth graders know a continent is not the same as a country! You mentioning the US 500,000+ deaths just shows how incompetent trump was at handling the pandemic!

The EU is a basket case.

Those people in the picture are as dumb as the ones in Texas.

I wish them luck. I can't imagine being at this point this late in the process.

The UK now has about the same number of cases and deaths per day as Japan. Let that sink it. The UK had really hit rock bottom and, granted it should never have had to suffer that badly, but it's done a lot to get itself out of this mess. Now, I wonder how things will develop both there and in Japan.

Better safe than dead.

Not really - Europe is of comparable size to the US.

Even fifth graders know a continent is not the same as a country!

I didn’t say that a country is the same as a continent.

You mentioning the US 500,000+ deaths just shows how incompetent trump was at handling the pandemic!

That number is lowballing the current total. But it was 100 thousand lower a little under three months ago according to the CDC. That was when biden took over handling of the pandemic and promised he would follow the science.

Your statement implied that it is!

Followed up by :

Not really - Europe is of comparable size to the US.

Which are all lead by individual leaders with their own government, laws, cultures, languages, and history.

That number is lowballing the current total. But it was 100 thousand lower a little under three months ago according to the CDC. That was when biden took over handling of the pandemic and promised he would follow the science.

It is already in the history books! trump lost the election because of his handling of the pandemic! None of your revisionary logical fallacies can fix it

You trying to compare forty-four different country leaders to the failures of one incompetent and failed one-term US president shows how pathetic trump truly is.

Even more about the poster!

It was particularly cold yesterday, those in the picture are enduring the elements just to sit outside a pub...

Oh snap! I didn't realize the U.S. was in Europe and Trump was the President of Europe. Please at least read the title of the article to know the subject of this article.

I don't really believe Russia was not hit like others during the first wave.

Still can't understand why this is so lethal in the West, allegedly having good healthcare. Yet even the most undeveloped Asian countries are faring much better.

Europe passes milestone of 1 million coronavirus deaths

You can make accumulative death figures for everything, from heart attack to influenza. Fact is, people get born and die every day, and overall the Corona virus has not made a noticable dent in the national death rate anywhere.

Britain reopens pubs

Good on them! You can not keep punishing the general population forever.

overall the Corona virus has not made a noticable dent in the national death rate anywhere.

This isn't correct.

@Numan: Your statement implied that it is!

Nope - I know the difference between a country and a continent. I explained that the US and Europe are comparable in size - that’s what I was implying.

Which are all lead by individual leaders with their own government, laws, cultures, languages, and history.

Yes and every state in America’s federal system of government are all led by leaders with their own government and laws, cultures, history, and even with different language requirements.

It is already in the history books! trump lost the election because of his handling of the pandemic! None of your revisionary logical fallacies can fix it

I never claimed or implied that Trump won the 2020 election. I do know however that according to the CDC over 100 thousand people have died in the short time that Biden has become president. He said everything would change on day one.

You trying to compare forty-four different country leaders to the failures of one incompetent and failed one-term US president shows how pathetic trump truly is.

You keep talking about Trump - he isn’t in charge anymore. Biden is the one failing to handle the pandemic now. Look at the stats. The number of Americans who have died is astonishing. I can’t believe Europe is doing so much worse.

Stick to the facts. Look at the numbers. A million in Europe is pathetic.
