Oh Pelosi, said that.

Ok you guys win.

I guess the new GOP position will now be that bribery is OK and always has been.

11 ( +18 / -7 )

The fact that Trump needs to pressure his party, whine, or complain about them needing to do a "better job" of defending him, is the whining of a child!

If they truly thought him innocent, they would be doing it of their own accord, and not because of threats and "tweets"!

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Bribery fits. Extortion fits. Campaign finance violation fits.

The title doesnt matter, justice being served does.

Durham, libs, Dems, biased MSM, Schiff, not fair, one sided, etc.

I mentioned this narrative change a few days ago. Next one will be “abuse of power”once this one doesn’t work too.

“We’re in Chapter One of a process,” said Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., a member of the Intelligence Committee conducting the inquiry. The challenge, he said, is educating Americans about what happened “and then explaining why it matters.”

Sorry, so all the closed door testimony was what? The prologue?!

I get it's a process, and she is right though, there are far too many American's, in my opinion, that truly need to be educated as to what is going on, as it seems pretty obvious that there are many that think "So what?" if Trump bribed/extorted some piss-ant country like Ukraine into doing something for his benefit to receive OUR money to fight their war!

I get the feeling like they think Trump deserves a medal or something!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Nope.

Relying on established procedures set forth in the Justice Manual, the Department’s Criminal Division reviewed the official record of the call and determined, based on the facts and applicable law, that there was no campaign finance violation and that no further action was warranted. All relevant components of the Department agreed with this legal conclusion, and the Department has concluded the matter. "

It was clearly an illegal act. Trump is a crook. And quite laughable that the usual suspects on this site deny it.

Lock him up!

Ok, first it was supposedly quid pro quo, then extortion and now bribery? What’s next, verbal assault, intimidation....slander? Oh, it’s so hard to keep up with these people. They’re running out of charges...

It was quid pro quo from Trump's perspective, but what he wanted in return was illegal.

ha ha ha ... from Russian collision to Quid pro Quo... Now from Quid Pro Quo to Bribery.... What a joke!!! What is next? from Bribery to ___.. Hi friends . Win a prize to fill in the blank... Try it.. The left and corrupt media, Antifas , Pelosi and Shitff team will appreciate your input. The coup team announces " Now we are closing the impeachment trail of president for Quid pro Quo......... Lets make a new team to impeach the President for Bribery. Even after the he finishes his office year 2020 still we will make our hard efforts to impeach him. After his win in 2020 we will make new team to impeach again if we have majority in the congress...... help us pleeeeeaseeee .. hah ah ha..

Dems should just come clean. “We feel that only this specific President should not have the right to make his own foreign policy because (insert reason)”.

they look like fools trying to make new words ever week for the “crime” they desperately hope will be found. This whole thing is a ballot box issue not a court or Congress issue.

(Even a) DEM WITNESS ADMITS UKRAINE ‘SHOULD’ INVESTIGATE BURISMA FOR PAYING BRIBE TO KILL PROBE INTO HUNTER BIDEN

https://www.infowars.com/thats-a-wrap-dem-witness-admits-ukraine-should-investigate-burisma-for-paying-bribe-to-kill-probe-into-hunter/

The Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot by conducting this sham impeachment trial. They are only desperate to find something to pin onto Trump, because they know that otherwise they can never beat him in 2020. And they are continuing to create charges--and even changing the rules---as they go along. Democratic candidates will suffer losses in the next election and wish they had never pulled this stunt.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

House Democrats are refining part of their impeachment case against the president to a simple allegation: Bribery.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday brushed aside the Latin phrase “quid pro quo” that Democrats have been using to describe President Donald Trump’s actions toward Ukraine. As the impeachment hearings go public, they’re going for a more colloquial term that may resonate with more Americans.

I guess Pinocchio Pelosi has decided that having elected Democrats, and her pet news media outlets, repeating the term "quid pro quo" is not producing the expected results of turning public opinion in favor of impeachment. I think it should be obvious by now that there are very few voters who have not already made up their mind concerning impeachment.

Many Democrats, and Hillary worshippers, were convinced by Hillary's 2nd failure to become POTUS as the reason Trump should be impeached. They just didn't have any evidence of an impeachable offense. After Mueller let them down, they jumped at the chance to claim "quid pro quo". Since that isn't changing any hearts, and minds, Pelosi is going to try using the term "bribery" in order to gin up support for her latest attempt to become the next POTUS. At least for a while. Until she, and her minions, can think up a better, more effective, public relations campaign.

-11 ( +3 / -14 )

Ooh, an infowars link, how quaint. Do they sell any snake oil that cures impeachmentitis?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Who cares what she thinks.....She has no place to stand and she is clearly NOT the leader of the Democratic Party.

0 ( +8 / -8 )

Giuliani is feeling the heat. In an interview, he said he doesn't worry that Trump will through him under the bus because he has "insurance". His lawyer, who was on the call, abruptly cut him off, saying he was "joking" (why does a lawyer need a lawyer?). This is bribery: Giuliani has now publicly stated that he'll protect Trump if Trump protects him, truth be damned.

Quid pro quo, anyone?

2 ( +8 / -6 )

Black's Law Dictionary defines "bribery" as "The corrupt payment, receipt, or solicitation of a private favor for official action."

Trump expressly asked for a "favor," the favor was for his private benefit, and it was to be in exchange for official action.

So Pelosi pretty much nails it.

5 ( +12 / -7 )

It was quid pro quo from Trump's perspective, but what he wanted in return was illegal.

To get dirt on a rival? So when the Democrats did it to Trump, that was ok? Why?

Like saying I'll put a big order in for your company as long as you give me five million yen.

Ok, let’s say for arguments sake it may have been dumb or not a smart move to make, so where is the high crime and misdemeanor? Where is the impeachable offense?

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Trump expressly asked for a "favor," the favor was for his private benefit,

Can you prove that? So far the Democrats star witnesses can’t.

and it was to be in exchange for official action.

Omg!! This President had the audacity to ask for a favor, now he must be removed from office! ROFL! In 6 weeks this will all be a fleeing memory, but funny though.

So Pelosi pretty much nails it.

Yeah, the woman with zero case and the one that feels so horrible going down this road. Lol

So where do you stand? You think Trump did nothing wrong, or he did do something wrong but it doesn't meet the standards for impeachment?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Wasn’t Comey in public office? Bruce Ohr? Barack Obama? Etc etc lets keep this in mind when Durham comes around end of the month.

Yeah, when you use public office to get that dirt, it's illega

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

The amoral and unethical fraud occupying the White House proves, more time, he is not fit to be President of the United States of America (POTUS) ... enough already.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The manner in which Dems have run the impeachment inquiry is against all past precedents and has been clearly partisan and against the American ideal of fair play and to due process that both Nixon and Clinton received. This fact sets up the Senate to run a trial that is similarly one sided and partisan. The "whistleblower" will be exposed as a political partisan. Bidens actual quid pro quo admitted on television will be made a focus along with his sons profiting off of his fsthers office. The officials who are upset that Trump gets to decide what America's foreign policy should be will be shredded, and the entire corrupt edifice built by Pelosi and Schiff will evaporate into nothingness.

At first it was collusion and that failed.

Then it was quid pro quo and that went nowhere.

Now it's bribery and that specious charge will meet the same fate.

The president of the US will not be impeached and removed through a partisan process built on hearsay and anonymous accusations. It's as if the Dems are giving Trump an in-kind campaign contribution. Their hatred of Trump has them doing things that are injurious of themselves.

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Come on, Donald. Haven’t you got a country to run?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Pelosi is scrambling to find something . . . anything. . . to hang an impeachment charge on President Trump after yesterday's gigantic bomb blew up in the democrats face. The past three years of telling themselves that Orange Man Bad is a traitor, a Russian asset, etc., culminated in Round One of the Schiff Show "impeachment inquiry".

Today was suppose to be a break in place to allow the MSM to report on bombshell after bombshell after bombshell that was to be exposed by the democrats "star witnesses."

Instead, Pelosi had to trot out before the DNC media complex to proclaim yet another pivot (bribery. . . Yeah, that's the ticket) after the democrats failed to advance their impeachment ball a single yard.

Ah, the smell of desperation from the democrat party is palpable.

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

Instead, Pelosi had to trot out before the DNC media complex to proclaim yet another pivot (bribery. . . Yeah, that's the ticket)

How is that a pivot? You aren't so silly as to think that bribery, extortion, and quid pro quo all refer to different things are you? That would just be silly, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you must just be being hyper-partisan.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

to proclaim yet another pivot

No, a desperate pivot would be starting with an inquiry about a land deal ending up in an impeachment over a BJ from an intern. Lapdog Lindsay, Moscow Mitch & Co. had no problem with that then.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I have said that if maybe Trump did this, or didnt do that, or kept his mouth shut, then all of this would of never happened, but the reality is, it doesnt matter what he did or didnt do, these "people" (does nancy qualify?) will do whatever it takes to get him removed.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

We know Trump held up aid while demanding Ukraine make investigations into his political rival. What would you like to call it? Anything is fine with me.

Not extortion, but if they didn’t get the aid, the you can call it that, if not, you really have nothing but a dumb call that the Democrats are getting their panties in a bunch about. Because Biden did something a bit similar, he threatened the Ukrainian government to fire the prosecutor that was investigating his son OR withhold aid going to the Ukraine. Six hours later the prosecutor was fired. So basically, 1) Biden threatened and extorted the Ukrainian government and 2) made a “quid pro quo” proudly and on video. Boy, can’t wait until the Senate calls Hunter.

So where do you stand? You think Trump did nothing wrong,

I think he shouldn’t have made the call the very next day after he was exonerated by Mueller, but does it amount to an impeachable offense, not even remotely close.

or he did do something wrong but it doesn't meet the standards for impeachment?

This farce charade definitely doesn’t meet that requirement.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Come on, Donald. Haven’t you got a country to run?

Yeah, now if the Democrats would lay off of him, he could definitely do his job a lot better.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

I guess the new GOP position will now be that bribery is OK and always has been.

Wasn't OK when Quid Pro Joe did it. ;)

This entire trial is a sham!

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

The first report told us plenty. lying to Congress, FBI taking bribes from media sources to leak, dude sleeping with reporter and leaking to her. lots of Comey ant McCabe stuff. There just wasn’t a prosecutor attached. Now there is.

Sure, but what happens when the report isn't what you thought it would be. Like the first one.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Even Kent admitted that Hunter and Joe raised alarms, and he reported it to State. Seems that just...vanished???

So there was a precedent for all this, and that is Joe Biden and his shenanigans. Its not Trump, as the Dem buffoon said during the hearing, its Biden.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Dems should have scheduled only 1 person per day and took a day off in between to let the media spin the previous day and narrate what the following day will be.

but they are in such a hurry. So instead, todays news is that 2 Dems are under ethics investigation, a Dem dropped an envelope full of cocaine, a school shooting and Obama’s handpicked guy is running for 2020 now. It’s like yesterday never even happened.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

The impeachment hearings are turning out to be almost as entertaining as SNL...

Each day we're treated to a parade of Trump's own hand-picked officials who clearly and concisely lay out the bribe and QPQ Donnie and his minions tried to pull on Ukraine.

A bribe and QPQ for the former President and an Oval Office Meeting, a bribe and QPQ for an Oval Office meeting with Zelinsky, and the bribe and QPQ for the military aid.

And it's all Repubs doing the shooting - Taylor and Kent were both Trump picks, one in 2018 and one in 2019. Then we have Trump bud Sondland who needs to put a cot outside the testimony room so he can quickly go in and "revise" his previous lies under oath. Now next week he'll be asked about that phone call with Trump.

And can't wait for Trump pick John Bolton to explain that drug deal...

Repub on Repub warfare is so enjoyable to watch...

And this is separate from Stone's trial where we learn he and Trump were in cahoots with Assaunge and the Russians on the stolen e-mails.

And Donnie's main man Steven Miller is proved to be the white supremacist we all knew he was - what a surprise! And Trumpers here still wonder why black Americans shun him like the plague...

Donnie's own picks and buds taking him down - while Dems watch...couldn't be better...

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Interesting how the Dems and MSM have been grooming us to believe that Trump has committed so many "high crimes", all the while, very cunningly leaving out details about their own ilk and what they have done, that does not help their story. I dont need their commentary, or grooming. I need the whole truth and nothing else to base my decision on. So far, nothing has moved me to believe Trump did anything wrong.

Hold accountable and verify that the new Ukaraine president can use US tax money for non corrupt purposes. Check

Verify that presidential candidate scumbag Biden was involved in Ukraine during the Obama administration and his son was also involved in shade, all the while receiving aid from the US? Check

so far so good, no problem here.

there was no bribe or extortion. Pelosi looks sick and giddy at the same time, but obviously delusional as well.

The money made it to Ukraine without any obligations.

So no crime was even committed. It could be argued that something was suggested, but I dont even see that. Being that Ukraine is like in the top percent on the worlds most corrupt country list, why hand over 400 million to such a country? Even better, why is a sitting VP allowing his crack additct son to sit on the board of the most powerful corrupt company in Ukraine?

Amazing that people can read the same transcript and reach totally opposing conclusions.

Because of Trump's inability and lack of moral and ethical qualities (his quid pro quo mantra through the propaganda called "America First" is one of the evidence) the US has rapidly been losing its dominant role in the world affairs, allowing Russia and China expand their influences around the world. On the other hand, Trump has earned some credits in shaping some adventurous policies that the GOP never thought of. I believe that now is the time for the GOP politicians to replace Trump to 1) amend the damages caused by Trump inside and outside the US and 2) adjust the GOP's policies just in time for the next election.

I dont have to "have anything". you guys are the ones with the unproven allegations that you still need to prove. So Schiff was lying when he said the whistleblower would testify "soon"? Or did he just "misspeak" or was it "taken out of context"?

But keep beating that dead Whistle Blower horse Blacklabel...we understand you got nothing else....

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The best line so far from this farce.

JORDAN: "You didn’t listen in on Trump & Zelensky’s call?"

TAYLOR: "I did not."

JORDAN: "You’ve never talked with Chief of Staff Mulvaney?"

TAYLOR: "I never did."

JORDAN: "You’ve never met the President?"

TAYLOR: "That’s correct."

JORDAN: "And you’re their star witness."

The Democrats are sinking faster than a nuke sub. ROFL!

The Dems are doing so wonderfully and are so confident that both Bloomberg -and- Obama's handpicked guy had to jump in at the last minute.

But yeah ALL the 2020 Dems are beating Trump head to head. Even the ones like Beto who dropped out already. yeah right.....

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Typical Trump to make an offer you can't refuse. It would be a shame if something were to happen to your arms deal.

Amazing that people can read the same transcript and reach totally opposing conclusions.

That is assuming a few things 1) they really did read rather than skim 2) they did not skip any parts and 3) they tell us what their honest conclusion was.

It is especially point 3 I find annoying because in debate we are generally not allowed to point out that the speaker seems to be dishonest, even when they have a clear history of dishonesty and should not even be a part of discussions anymore because of it.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

The Dems are doing so wonderfully and are so confident that both Bloomberg -and- Obama's handpicked guy had to jump in at the last minute.

The actual issue is that with Donny self-destructing , anyone can beat him.

Bribery? Defined by the Democrats reaching as far back as 200 yrs ago per interpretation of the forefathers is really reaching deep and far stretching a definition that really hasn't occurred. But I do tell you what did occur, was Biden's son on a government plane as a passenger that was on official business and he conducted personal business for personal gains in closing a business transaction deal. Hmmm a trip paid for by US tax funded $$. yet the mass media and Democrats alike say nothing. I see this as national security issue since it involved a Vice President and a close family member using "gov influence" to close a business transaction. What if Russia or Chinese companies or other countries were vying for the same piece of business deals. That too me seems more of bribery and throwing the influence weight of the US around more than what I have read that transpired in a phone call and hearsay. hmmm.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

If the Democrats actually put this up for a vote and they get enough votes to impeach him, it'll just boost his approval ratings even further. Oh my...

I am sick and tired of "quid pro quo" scandal pushed by the democrats. Is there any good candidate for the president of U.S.A. to replace Trump? If America loses Trump, China and Russia will be happy and there will be deteriorating America in the stage of world politics. America needs a strong leader. Trump is once in 100 years president. We already know what kind of person he is and the telephone conversation may be true and strictly speaking violatiing the constitution but for him, it is his style of doing "deals" and did not think it very seriously. Losing Trump over such a small thing is a very big loss for America.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

What if Russia or Chinese companies or other countries were vying for the same piece of business deals.

Russia already has its puppet, Donny.

Putin snaps his fingers and Donny dances.

You might have forgotten that Ivanka is doing personal business deals with Chinese companies while in China on an official capacity. Me thinks that since she travelled on a government plane paid for by the tax payers, it might be a wee bit inappropriate !!!!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

First of all Russian petitions don't work in the US.

No, Russians, just Americans expressing their first amendment rights.

Second, the joy of witnessing Trumplets implode is too good to pass.

Wait until it’s the Senate’s turn to cross examine the witnesses then we can watch the Democrats implode and even better to watch the GOP NOT convict Trump or remove him.

We thought the Donny defenders had only lost their balls but looks like the've lost their brains too!!!!!

Watching the Dems screw themselves and ruin their chances in Key swing States is not exactly intellectually the brightest decision of theirs.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

The actual issue is that with Donny self-destructing , anyone can beat him.

Not any of these current candidates.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

I am sick and tired of "quid pro quo" scandal pushed by the democrats.

There's a cure for that, acceptance of reality .

If America loses Trump, China and Russia will be happy and there will be deteriorating America in the stage of world politics

Russia has been as happy as it can ever be, they have a puppet for an American President, one who thinks about Russia's feelings before giving aid to Ukraine. China is happy because the US influence in the world is at its weakest today. The world laughs at the clown we have for a President.

Trump is once in 100 years president.

Once he is in Prison he will be once in a 1000 years President, they will teach about Trump in law schools.

Losing Trump over such a small thing is a very big loss for America.

Selling your country might be a small deal for traitors but believe me its a big deal for true Americans.

Yeah, Putin just loves the lethal anti-tank weapons that Trump has provided for Ukraine after Obama gave them blankets.

Not even Mayor Pete? Real Clear Politics is giving him 4.5 points up over Trump :D

I can see the testimony next week - and the Trumpers response....

Mr Sondland, were you in a meeting with representatives of the Ukraine government, Mr Bolton, Ms Hill, and LTC Vindman - and during that meeting did you request the Ukrainians to investigate the Bidens, and if they did this, then military aid would be unblocked by President Trump and an Oval Office meeting scheduled?

And did you and President Trump have a phone call where you discussed the bribe and extortion scheme to deliver the aid to Ukraine in exchange for the Ukraine President to hold a press conference where he would state he was opening an investigation into the Bidens?

If Sondland lies and says no, then he's a hero, a patriot, a team-player... If he tells the truth and says yes, then he's "scum", a "dog", "filth"...

Hopefully he has a better lawyer than Crazy Rudy who will tell him to fess up - he may be scum, but he'll be free scum - and not behind bars like Donnie and the rest of the gang that can't QPQ straight...

Nobody doubts that the GOP has lost its balls, I am glad we agree on this.

Yeah, Putin just loves the lethal anti-tank weapons that Trump has provided for Ukraine after Obama gave them blankets.

I am sure the minor fact that Donny actually wanted to withhold aid and weapons worrying it would hurt his master, Putin's feelings, slipped your attention.

“The bribe is to grant or withhold military assistance in return for a public statement of a fake investigation into the elections,” Pelosi said. “That’s bribery.” -- article

Except neither of those things ever happened. Pelosi is reading from a prepared script that was written six weeks ago when the democrats thought President Trump would not release the transcript of the phone call. However, he did and since then, it's been learned that 1.) Ukraine did get military assistance from the U.S. -- something that never happened under the eight years of Obama -- and 2.) no investigation by Ukraine was ever conducted.

It's understandable that Pelosi's low info voter base knows none of that because they only get their "news" from the DNC-controllled Media Industrial Complex.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

so how do you explain what happened when they didnt do this?

and if they did this, then military aid would be unblocked by President Trump and an Oval Office meeting scheduled?

bass4funk:

To an outside, observer, yes. But to the fake media echo chamber residents, no. I watched CNN this morning, and it was like stepping into an alternate universe.

I think Jimizo pointed out that there is no single "American people". Clearly the country is split into 2 camps: The deplorables and the gullibles (i.e. fake media consumers). You can see on this site how communication is almost impossible.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Not any of these current candidates.

Actually most of the current candidates can.

Unless you live in an alternate 'Faux' universe where Donny is an innocent choir boy....

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I was surprised that CNN admitted on air the fact that neither of yesterdays "witnesses" actually "witnessed" anything. and the fact that neither of them spoke to Trump or Mulvaney as an actual problem. When liberals have lost on CNN, they really lost.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Not any of these current candidates.

Actually most of the current candidates can.

Sure they can. Tee hee!

Make no mistake. This will not end well for the Democrats.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

“The bribe is to grant or withhold military assistance in return for a public statement of a fake investigation into the elections,” Pelosi said. “That’s bribery.”

Agreed. And a system in which someone like Sondland can buy his Ambassadorship for $1,000,000 in "gifts" to the person who appoints him is bribery, also.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Make no mistake.

I never do.

This will not end well for the Democrats.

Since Donny might end up in prison, I don't think it'll end well for him.

I think I also pointed out how there are Incredibly predictable automatons who just trot out words like ‘globalist’, ‘fake news’, ‘MSM’ like pull-toys while thinking they are somehow superior to those in the 2 camps you mentioned. These people seem to be obsessed with CNN while telling us how almost nobody watches it.

Communication with these people is useless and boring.

Totally off topic but US nuclear subs have actually sunk too - USS Scorpion.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Actually most of the current candidates can.

*They can’t. Biden:has too many gaffes, can get some black support, but will have difficulty in key Trump States*

*Warren**: her income redistribution plan will turn off business people as well as Wall St. and with a price tag of $53 trillion, no one will sign on to that, not to mention, she won’t get the minority vote.*

*Sanders**: let’s be real, the US is not ready for a socialist, it will never happen, even the Democrats know it won’t happen.*

The rest have zero chance, not to mention the economy is doing fantastic, hard to take on any incumbent in that situation. Americans will not look at the economy and say to themselves, maybe I don’t like Trump (some may say) but I do love his economic policies, I’ll take them over a socialist money grabber, they just don’t have a chance.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

"Fox and Comrades" isnt the most neutral news source available but it makes Trumpsters feel happy so all is well

The far right goons think even Fox and Frauds is a far-left haven these days because one time they said "hm, not sure Trump should have said that". We've already got an InfoWars link in this topic, I'm just wondering when I'm going to get a link to somewhere that sells premium tinfoil hats.

Fair enough. She could also have used the words "blackmail", "shakedown" or "extortion", and opted not to...

Watching Republicans chase their little tails in circles trying to defend Trump is hilarious!

"It's a witch hunt!" (how many people prosecuted? Guess they Believe in witches).

"They can't do behind closed doors! We need to see! I won't accept it until we see!" (so, they agree to open hearings despite the previous portion behind close doors being 100% legal)

"They can't do it in the open! Witch Hunt! I won't Watch!"

"Wasn't quid pro quo" (Donald Trump can't even say the phrase without screwing it up half the time)

"So what if it was?"

"It wasn't. You have no proof."

"So what if it was?"

"Don't talk about 2016. It's ancient history. Let's talk about Biden instead when he was in office."

"The president is NOT above the law if it is a democract. If it's Trump, he cannot be prosecuted. He cannot even be INVESTIGATED. If he shot someone? Well... what was that person like? maybe it was a bad person. We Don't know!"

"You have no proof!" (show proof again)

"So what if he did? He didn't. Oh, he did? Well, no he didn't. But if he did, It's okay."

"Give us the whistleblower! His/her testimony is Paramount!"

"The whistleblower's testimony is only hearsay. It doesn't matter!"

"I demand the transcripts of the closed door sessions."

"I won't read the transcripts."

"Trump is a hero who should never be questioned. The man who served our nation and was injured in combat? A treasonous coward who needs to be cross-examined."

And of course, I loved Jim (support the gym coach child-molestor) Jones coming in and saying "The man who started all this needs to appear before us", and the other guy saying, "Sure, we'd love to have Trump here." Zing!

2 ( +4 / -2 )

They testified how an ambassador was fired, the new Ukraine government was confused and they discovered an “irregular channel” — a shadow U.S. foreign policy orchestrated by Giuliani that raised alarms in diplomatic and national security circles.

Rudy's chums need a bit more scrutiny, as well. They are literally gangsters.

Shifty Schiff already threatened to initiate ethics investigations against any Republicans who named the anti-Trump leaker during the impeachment inquisition.

How can he do that if he doesn't know who the so-called whistleblower is?

He's not even a good liar.

Yes, the Democrats are so smart. ROFL!

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Shifty Schiff already threatened to initiate ethics investigations against any Republicans who named the anti-Trump leaker during the impeachment inquisition.

I thought you were vehemently against name calling?

How about anti-corruption, rather than anti-Trump? Although the latter is so mired in corruption, it's understandable that anyone with any amount of decency would be anti-Trump.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Trump is no good but the democrats are desperate and they,re doing EVERYTHING they can to avoid going face to face with Trump next year. what ,s worrying is that they couldn,t find anyone strong enough to beat Trump.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

well if there is irrefutable evidence that Hillary committed crimes then she can share a cell next to Trump,

Then you can say the same thing about Trump, there is no evidence whatsoever of him constructing a serious impeachable crime. You didn’t have one single Republican voting with the Democrats can you head to Democrats that abstained from the vote.

only problem is you need to provide evidence, conspiracies and innuendo doesnt cut it in a court of law.

Since this is not a court of law, then it doesn’t hold.

How about anti-corruption, rather than anti-Trump?

Then you reeeeally need to see the smoke radiating from the Democrats camp.

Although the latter is so mired in corruption, it's understandable that anyone with any amount of decency would be anti-Trump.

If you are partisan liberal, then that would make perfect sense.

This is about the corrupt PotUS, though.

If you are partisan liberal, then that would make perfect sense.

Focus, please. This is one of the most corrupt and dangerous Presidents to ever darken the door of the White House. It should be painfully obvious to anyone with a modicum of decency and sense that he has overstepped the mark.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

This is about the corrupt PotUS, though.

That’s name calling. Where is the corruption? If he’s corrupt and after an exhaustive and thorough investigation, the Feds couldn’t prove it even with 40 FBI agents, 19 angry liberal Hillary donor lawyers, 1,500 subpoenas and 1,500 testimonies couldn’t prove it, but Schiff can? Really? Lol

Focus, please. This is one of the most corrupt and dangerous Presidents to ever darken the door of the White House. It should be painfully obvious to anyone with a modicum of decency and sense that he has overstepped the mark.

We felt the same about the last President and I still feel that, but as an adult, I didn’t cry, I said, I’ll wait until the next election, that’s what adults do, but Schiff, Swalwell and Nadler need some time to grow up.

Even you aren't so dumb that you really think that 6%, or even 8%, is comparable to 90%?

These are bad numbers - for you Republicans. Your far-right white supremacist views just don't appeal to minorities. I wonder why? Oh! That's right, you said before you don't care about minority votes. Now I understand.

Won't help if at the same time Trump loses 5% of his white votes or 5% more blacks decide to vote.

You dismissed minority votes how you claim Trump will need them.

Oh, and he'll definitely get more in 2020 - I hear he'll get up to 20% of the black vote at Rikers island when he runs for Library Cart Monitor....

But hey. let's say he doesn't get impeached - he can appoint Repub Rep Steve King and Repub staffer Steven Miller as his outreach POCs to the black community. The two Steves can tell the black community all about their views on white supremacy - you know, like how did that word become offensive?

I wonder why? Oh! That's right, you said before you don't care about minority votes.

Democrats don’t care about the suburban White vote either.
