Pence accuses China of meddling in U.S.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence charged...

And the Trump/Pence base believed it. China can NOT be trusted and I believe they're using cyberwarfare tactics, but given the Trump/Pence/GOP principles (really lack of principles) it sounds like they're demonifying China, the non-Europid nation.

US and other nation's intelligence agencies have claimed to have evidence Russia has interfered with elections and politics in Russia's attempts to undermine 'western' democracies.

It sounds like Pence, like so many of Trump's folowers, has gone along with Putin who claims to be a 'conservative' and a Christian, and who like him is a Europid.

There is no question that China is involved in military intelligence gathering using cyber techniques, and in widespread economic cyber theft.  But there is no evidence that China is attempting intervene in the US politically in the cyber domain.  Yet you have every US intelligence agency - and all those of our allies saying Russia is engaging in a wide-ranging cyber operation to attack Western political institutions, and influence western voters. 

It's clear Pence is merely using China to deflect and protect Russia - and is part of the pro-Russia cabal headed by the "Great Orange Comrade" himself...

The Republican "Anonymous" had it right; Trump and now Pence are a danger to the republic... :

"China wants a different American president."

Oh, Mike Pence, we pretty much all want a different American president. And by the way, not you.

Nothing new here. As all nations big and small, strong and weak, try to influence those countries that affect their well-being. For countries that use the election process (Democratic or not), it is important for other countries to make sure that it selects and elects the right persons/s beneficial to that country's interests and well-being.

In that process there is "conspiracy" that can be extremely complicated and convoluted. For an example, how do we know for sure that it was Russia that meddled when it could have been China or even N Korea or even Saudi Arabia using Russia as the scapegoat and manipulated the election process in the US. There are people and methods and pathways that can be multilayered and multifaceted and even convoluted to affect changes that affect any action or activity such as an election. For all we know, the political rhetoric may be just a cover to misinform or to even influence and control public opinion.

The point is.., it is in the final action taken or NOT taken that sheds a sparse and extremely limited light on what may be happening. It all depends on what information is made available.

The Trump Administration has a strong incentive to proactively deflect from what will likely be a serious loss in the upcoming midterms. Identifying a proxy now is a good tactical move for the 36%.

For an example, how do we know for sure that it was Russia that meddled when it could have been China or even N Korea or even Saudi Arabia using Russia as the scapegoat and manipulated the election process in the US.

Oh please, if we want far-fetched Russian propaganda we can tune in to Russia Today or Sputnik.

Note today how the Dutch caught the Russians red-handed trying to attack the chemical weapons overwatch organization...which is helping the UK with the Skirpal poisonings... 

Putin has let the Russian dogs (intelligence services) loose....we in the West must be prepared...

John Nance Garner's famous observation that the vice presidency isn't worth a bucket of warm spit has once again been confirmed.

It is simple deflection because so many Dump administration officials have ties to the Russians. They are hoping everyone is going to forget the increments a new convictions from the Mueller investigation.

The British just came out with a report of Russian spy's meddling in the UK and US. It more confirmation!

We'll see in 2020. Oh, but if Trump-Pence win, it'll be because of Russian-Chinese meddling, won't it? And if Avenatti-Ocasio-Cortez win, it'll be because the meddling was stopped and American people spoke!

I wonder what reasons the US have in not naming the actual biggest culprits in cyber warfare, aside from themselves of course.
