Very Christian of Pence.

Pence can defend trumpy till the cows come home, it doesn’t change anything he has said or done up to this point! And what a show of complete lack of personal accountability to have people go out on your behalf to try and humanize you after each of your immature and ignorant comments!

even a blind person can see trump for what he really is,yet these creeps still try their darndest to downplay his gaffes.

"regardless of what country they come from or what their race and creed is."

Pence can lie all he wants. His personal lord and savior Donald J. Trump will keep him from all harm.

"I know the president's heart and I know that what President Trump wants to do is reform immigration to make our system one that puts the interests of America first," Pence said. He added that immigrants should be considered on their merits, "regardless of what country they come from or what their race and creed is."

Except this is literally the opposite of what Trump said. He explicitly said he wants caps on immigrants from certain countries with the implied reasoning being they are just lesser people.

I think what Trump said wasn't wrong, but I do fault him for saying it in public like that, if he indeed said that. But he wasn't telling a lie, has nothing to do with the people, but the left in their bloodlust to attack anyone or anything that they feel is racist is totally asinine.

He explicitly said he wants caps on immigrants from certain countries with the implied reasoning being they are just lesser people.

The people of course not, the country, yes.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

I think what Trump said wasn't wrong,

Good on you for coming to terms with racism.

but I do fault him for saying it in public like that,

That's not the problem.

If he indeed said that.

Oh he definitely said it.

But he wasn't telling a lie, has nothing to do with the people,

It most certainly does. When you ask, "why do we have to accept more people from shi**ole countries?" it certainly is about the people.

But kudos to Pence. He and his president are really reppin' the J man. Super christlike.

has nothing to do with the people, The people of course not, the country, yes.

A country is only a country if there are people. There's no separation between the country and the people and above most, Americans would feel negative criticism very personally. An attack on American is a attack on Americans.

Given Trump's racist history, which is more than well documented, it's now impossible to separate his SH remark from racism.

As regards to building a new American embassy in Jerusalem and opened by the end of 2019 is a gross misunderstanding. Building any large building in Jerusalem is always very difficult because the earth is saturated with archeological artifacts, and when the digging for the foundations begin and even the smallest artifact is discovered, the work must stop until an investigation and research is made. Those procedures and processes can take years.

The decision to build a new American embassy in London was taken by Bush in 2008 and opened this month 10 years later.

Good on you for coming to terms with racism.

I NEVER said or thought what he said was racist, I just thought saying it in public and how the left would perceive it would be considered racist, but then again, everything is racist in their minds. So tell me, when was the last time within the last 5 years you had an interest in visiting Somalia or Haiti? Ever wanted to take a beautiful vacation in Yemen?

That's not the problem.

He didn't say anything the average person would say about those countries including the people from those countries.

Oh he definitely said it.

Oh, please! Why, because Derbin said that? He is notoriously famous for lying. You don't know that and I don't know that and you can't prove it.

*It most certainly does. When you ask, "why do we have to accept more people from shi*ole countries?"

Exactly! He didn't say SH people, he was talking about the countries in which they live in.

it certainly is about the people.

Absolutely not. You guys and your delusional race this and race that. Liberals cannot go a day without trying to play the race card and they are some of the biggest racists on the planet.

Oh, please! Why, because Derbin said that? He is notoriously famous for lying. You don't know that and I don't know that and you can't prove it.

The other people in the room for the meeting didn't deny Trump didn't say it but only they didn't hear Trump say it?

The other people in the room for the meeting didn't deny Trump didn't say it but only they didn't hear Trump say it?

So if they didn't hear or recall then you cannot say unequivocally that he uttered those words based on his Democratic rival. Come on now! LOL

bass4funk: "So if they didn't hear or recall then you cannot say unequivocally that he uttered those words based on his Democratic rival. Come on now! LOL"

Ah, the nervous "LOL". Can't blame you -- there is no defense for the man's racism, yet here you are again trying your best. Anyone who defends his comments is just as bad, and yes, they DO recall him saying something or else they could not say, when they miraculously regained their memories a few days later, that he said "house" instead of "hole", and that it was therefore not profane or vulgar. Now they are shifting the goalposts again and saying, "We didn't find it vulgar", and "We know what he meant and what's in his heart".

So, again, not surprising to see the nervous LOL out tonight.

bass4funk: "Probably have, especially when the worst ones, the illegal ones come here and don't respect our laws, our culture, our way of life."

I bet most immigrants, legal or illegal, respect those things FAR more than you. Definitely do more than Trump, who spits on the Constitution regularly (and hasn't even read it or knows what's on it).

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Oh, please the man is not a racist, the left keep peddling that nonsense

Do we really need to go through this again? He refused to rent to people based purely on the colour of their skin. This is undeniably racism. You have said that this racism was justified due the fact that many people of the same race were criminals. We understand you think the racism was justified. But that does not change the fact that it is racist.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Can you just please answer the simple question?

No, I will not answer irrelevant questions.

Probably have, especially when the worst ones, the illegal ones come here and don't respect our laws, our culture, our way of life.

Yeah, those illegal Haitians are always jumping the border. lol I'm glad you are being open about your racism now, kudos ;)

Not like Durbin.

Right. Dumpy Donny on his best day ain't half the man Durbin is. Not even close.

Cotton didn't hear it, both he and Perdue said that they didn't hear it. Why is it that libs love to spread fake news?

Not true.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2018/01/16/sens-cotton-and-perdue-are-outed-for-lying-on-trumps-behalf/?utm_term=.8425ccadc65c

Why is it that right wingers love to spread fake news? lol

Again, I'll ask:

Absolutely not. You guys and your delusional race this and race that. Liberals cannot go a day without trying to play the race card and they are some of the biggest racists on the planet.

I see. So, Donny didn't want to accept people from sh*thole countries, because??? Just answer the simple question, Bass ;)

Yeah because it was ok for the Democrats Dear leader Obama to call Libya a hole but nobody cried about that one. Or any of the other nitwitt democrats who have done the samething or similar. Heck even graham said hell hole and no one cried about that. Not a bible thumper but let he who has not sinned cast the first stone....Like talking with a 5 year old in democrats....

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

So if they didn't hear or recall then you cannot say unequivocally that he uttered those words based on his Democratic rival. Come on now! LOL

Well that's the problem because of the long history of potty mouth comments by Trump, it's actually more believable he said it, more than he didn't. You have posted numerous comments just trying to defend him on these serious issues. It's the type of comment expected from an American president.

Oh, please the man is not a racist, the left keep peddling that nonsense and most probably don't know what a real racist is like.

I guess you didn't bother to read the Congress document, linked by cleopatra, but I did read entirely, so the evidence is in that document and not about what I believe or not. I don't know what a "real racist" is like, but actually I do, and so do my black daughters too.

Yeah, well it's coming, so be prepared, the last 3 Presidents promised and reneged on that promise just to get votes and Trump fulfilled it, so you guys harp on Trump for not keeping his promises and then when he does keep his promises, you guys still harp on him, so why should he care what the haters think? He shouldn't.

It does not matter personally to me if the embassy is built to not. "so you guys", you forget, i'm not a democrat or republican, I have no American vote. Many of my American family do though and they are republicans, democrats and even supporters of Bernie Sanders. Trump has made the decision to built the new embassy and Pence stated today it will open next year. It won't and will take many many years and probably even after Trump is out of office. The same could also happen with the "wall".

So basically what you are trying to say, if I don't want to drive through South Chicago because I'm worried about getting shot that makes me racist towards Blacks? It couldn't be because of the lawlessness in that city, but it has to be because of color?

Since you said you now live in Japan as an expat, and only return to America three times a year, I doubt you even go anywhere Chicago? You can't separate a country and its citizens which you tried to justify in defending Trump's potty mouth remark. When American footballers refuse to stand for the National anthem, is that against America as a country, or against the people, Americans? Trump believes is an insult to America.

Hey bass4funk, Democrats are so tiring, first they are against illegals crossing the border on video, then say they are not. They say Donald Trump is great on camera, then he becomes a republican and President, he's satan and a racist. They say they are for a border wall on camera, now against. They say they are against NOK, now stop picking on Rocketman. These dems flip-flop more then a fish out of water, lol....

Immigrants to the United States are significantly less likely than native-born citizens to be incarcerated. The authors found that 1.6 percent of immigrant males age 18-39 are incarcerated, compared to 3.3 percent of the native-born. A paper published by the National Bureau of Economic Research in 2007 found that immigrants had incarceration rates about one-fifth that of native-born Americans, and that the difference actually increased between 1980 and 2000.

President Trump often spoke about immigrants as criminals, “To ascribe group guilt to crimes just doesn’t work,”

Typical liberals, I knew their favorite color was yellow. Well, I answered your question without any hesitation, Thought so

I had to ask you to at least twice. Clearly you did not.

Go to Somalia or Haiti or El Salvador and you will know why 30 min after being there.

Again, why does Trump think we should not be accepting people from "sh*thole" countries? We've established Haiti and Ghana etc., are not great places. Objectively, they are not well-functioning governments and economies. But what does that have to do with accepting immigrants from those countries?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I'm sorry, but what do your kids have to do with this? Zichi, yo, stay with me.

Because you stated I would not even know what a real racist was, like you said "and most probably don't know what a real racist is like."

And my answer is yes I do! and so do my black daughters. There are all races of people within our family, we cover about nine nations at the last count. The Congress document linked by cleo outlines Trump's racism.

No, it's set in stone,

Then I guess you don't much about building embassies in Jerusalem and the problems of archeological sites or how long planning is required and the building will require a very level of security. The only thing "set in stone" as you put is Trump plan to built it and just like his wall will take at least ten years, costing billions.

Everyone keeps trying to use the apartments that Trumps father SR bought back in the 70's as the reason he Trump JR is racists. It's just false period. Back in 1973 when the law suit went out, It was federal lawsuit sent to many landlords across the country (read FBI file). The one sent to the Trumps, was sent to Trump Management, Trump SR and Trump JR, which is normal in a lawsuit to go to owners. Many of the accusations we redacted, one was found to be accurate. When the urban league ran a test to see which landlords were not renting to minorities. A for rent sign was on one of the apartment buildings of Trumps. When a black man went in to ask for the apartment he was turned down and said not availble even though sign was still. The superintendant said he forgot to take sign down. The next day the urban league sent a white woman in for the same apartment and was given a tour. Shortly after the black man and others came back in and confronted the superintendant who then blamed his boss, which was not named. The case was dropped after 2 years and no charges filed. I suggest you all go read the FBI file yourselves, i dont know how this makes President Trump a racist because of someone at his business.

On the issue of a new embassy in Jerusalem, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson seemed to concede that the move won't be easy and that the process of finding a new plot of land would begin immediately. “Obviously, there's a lot of planning that goes into it,” Tillerson told reporters at a U.S. air base in Ramstein, Germany. “It's going to take some time.”

I don't really like to be lectured by people that don't know anything about the US, sorry.

Really, I spend and spent a great deal of my life in the US. Both my American parents lived in Florida until their passing last year. I have probably been visiting America even before you were born. I own property and also pay the tax dollar.

But this is Japan and not America even though on JT there are probably too many America posts.

https://www.congress.gov/congressional-record/2016/9/26/senate-section/article/S6073-2

Trump has even had a secret system for discriminatory practices. As

the Washington Post reported:

> Trump employees have secretly marked the applications of

minorities with codes, such as 'No. 9' and 'C' for colored. .

. . The employees allegedly directed blacks and Puerto Ricans

away from buildings with mostly white tenants and steered

them toward properties that had many minorities.
