Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!

15 ( +18 / -3 )

No doubt the Trump-enistas will say it was a good use of a private email account. Like Trump's conflicts of interest, his crony capitalism, his use of tax payer's money to support his lavish lifestyle, his flip-flopping on issues, his slandering of the media, his inability to take criticism, his history with women, his bankruptcies, his tax dodging, his tradewarmongering; they're all of the good kind.

It's no surprise, though, to find that so many Trump loyalists are inconsistent, in fact flat out erratic, when it comes to applying principles to their leaders. But then that's consistent with being a true believer, isn't it.

14 ( +15 / -1 )

OMG!! He used a private server!! Just like Clinton!! Lock him up! Lock him up!

Where is Bass4Funk when you need him?

12 ( +14 / -2 )

So when can we expect the inquiry into this? As well as the 14 follow up inquiries?

11 ( +13 / -2 )

Let he hypocrisy begin! Because we all know if Republicans do exactly that which they have criticised for others, it is suddenly okay (for them... they still might reopen investigations into the others for the tenth time). If the comparison is "absurd", then why does Pence refuse to make the records public -- you know, according to Indiana law?

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Lock him up! Drain the swamp!

11 ( +11 / -0 )

A good rule of thumb at this point- every conspiracy theory the rightwing accuses Democrats of doing is something they actually have done, and are afraid of getting caught on.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Let's hope he resigns. Taking himself out of the running in readiness for the Orange Chum's impeachment.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Oh the irony....

Like him up indeed......

9 ( +11 / -2 )

I think Trump should drain the swamp in his cabinet and get rid of any left overs from the previous admin.

So you think he should leave his own swampy elements in then right?

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Not a good day for the Trumpster - he started it wearing aircraft-carrier branded new duds that he probably thought would make him look as tough as that Bush "Mission Accomplished" photo-op - and now this. Poor guy can't seem to catch a break. Here's a hint: If you don't bother to learn the ropes, surround yourself with those who have, not sycophants. Trump's penchant for choosing only those who kiss his ring is catching up to him already, just six weeks in.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

I guess you could argue that the classified information between Governor and SoS is likely very different, but the fact that he stood there criticizing Clinton throughout last year while at the same time doing the exact same thing shows a much deeper and much more disturbing contempt for supposedly his own country and countrymen. That he got outed by the media only after the election makes this worse, hiding his crime like a pervert

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Seems to be a "fake news" story.

Really? Which part of it is based on a lie, and/or which facts did not actually happen? It's time to stop this fake news scourge, and we need to call out all fake news whenever it happens, by whomever creates it.

The problem here is that I'm not clear on which parts of the story are based on falsehoods, so I can't act with you to condemn this fake news. Can you please point out the false parts of the story that state facts that did not actually happen, so that we can provide a unified front in condemning the fake news?

8 ( +9 / -1 )

@Gass Trump is trying to work with Dems, the majority refuse, NOT even trying to work with him.

You cheered on the Republicans when they refused to work with and even sabotaged Obama.

@Bass but from the looks of it all the elements points heavily to the left.

Referring to leaks, instead of 'elements', did you mean 'evidence'? If so, what evidence have you heard or seen that corroborates this, that the leaks came from the left? Please cite a source. If not, instead please say that's your opinion.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

@bass so I'll pass, respectively

And I'll pass on this latest fake news story and accept you have no evidence that corroborates the leaks are coming from the 'left'.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

The daily comedy relief provided by Trump and his team of clowns would actually be funny if it weren't so serious. These guys are going to make the US the laughing stock of the world. The Russian connection is going to take them down one by one it seems.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Hahahahahahahaha!!!!

So are pence & Hillary going to be room mates, I mean cell mates LOL!!!

LOCK HIM UP!!!!!! Too funny, too predictable!

5 ( +6 / -1 )

"Trump's penchant for choosing only those who kiss his ring is catching up to him already, just six weeks in."

To be fair, those with high levels of intellect and morality wouldn't touch him anyway. He's left with those all playing from the same balalaika song book.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Why is Hillary still free, then? lol

Ask your pal, Trump. He's the one who said he would put her in jail on his first day in office.

I guess he never got around to it--wonder why.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

The Republicans' motto:

Do as we say, and not as we do.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

It's hard to imagine a topic that could have arisen that would require more hypocrisy than this one to defend, and yet we have multiple posters doing exactly that!

3 ( +5 / -2 )

"Lock him up

Mike Pence in prison is a funny thought. He could preach about praying away the gay in the showers.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Lol the unhinged left wing is digging deep into nonsense for their fabricated world. There is a big difference between using an email from a known commercial service and everyone knows you have the email as opposed to Hillary setting up a secret email server, no one knows is secret and is used to store classified data and used to coordinate her RICO scam and other crimes.

Heh, the justifications of hypocrisy just keep coming!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

...not even worth commenting on. It would all go over the liberal head.

Lock him up! Lock him up!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

With all the controversy surrounding Hillary and her private email, surely Pence must have thought this through a bit... I guess not... Clueless. Regardless of how serious an issue you believe the activity to be you MUST be able to see how stupid he was to do it. Hopefully the rest aren't as clueless as he was.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

badsey3MAR. 04, 2017 - 02:55AM JST If someone wants to use AOL email that is their choice. Probably one of few options for Galapagos phone users. One could argue that a 56k dial-up AOL account is more secure than a direct internet account also.

One could if they didn't know anything about how data security works. Also if they were desperately looking for excuses to ignore Pence's hypocrisy to the degree that they didn't notice the report says he used an AOL email account, not an AOL dial-up ISP.

This degree of far-right projection is staggering. One thing's for sure, with the degree of glee that right-wingers have when they're making up false accusations at their opponents for doing what the right-wingers themselves have done, I wouldn't want to be a friend of Trump's who owns a pizza restaurant with a basement.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

myopic

This is STRAIGHT out of the repub playbook, or perhaps you don't remember....

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I remember last year when you guys said, Trump doesn't have a snowballs chance of winning the election, well, that prediction didn't turn out too well and this one is a yaaaawn

I didn't make any prediction. I simply pointed out how that your claim that Hillary's emails led to people being brutally murdered is fake news.

I wonder if you realize that never actually happened, and are lying, or really believe it happened, and are just clueless.

Lock him up! Lock him up!

(this is so fun! I can almost see how the Trump supporters got off on it during the campaign)

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I pray for the day when Trump ends up in jail with Hilary paying him visits.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Let's see if they (the FBI) treat this one the same as they did HRC ! I bet not !

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Is it fair to say Trump fans here are giving Pence a free pass on this? I don't even see a hint of criticism.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

If someone wants to use AOL email that is their choice. Probably one of few options for Galapagos phone users.

So is using a private email server!

No, but there is no smoke, there is no fire, now I know the Gremlin liberals are trying to set some fires all around this administration. Keep it up. LOL

Heh the guy who went on about Hillary's email for years, sees no problem in Pence's emails.

Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

He never said he would put her in jail on his first day in office, plus that would be against the law, first she has to be charged. Give Sessions some time, lol.

Actually, yes he did: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/10/09/politics/eric-holder-nixon-trump-presidential-debate/index.html

1 ( +1 / -0 )

I don't have a problem with Dems holding on to their principles, but this is beyond mental and the GOP never sank to that level.

Oh how we soon forget how the GOP worked against Obama's administration by not allowing any of his choices for the Supreme court pass. They as a party will do whatever it takes to push their agenda forward and not even think of any sort of compromise whatsoever.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Human fallibility has been around since the dawn of our species - 6,000 years ago.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Federal employee vs State employee. Constant access to Top Secret Information vs briefings from DHS briefings provided to police around the country.

Not really any comparison. A governor doesn't have access to classified materials, except during emergencies. It isn't a daily occurrence, especially for a state like Indiana. New York, Florida, and California governors probably have much more access. Flyover state governors don't have a need to know. Looked at the arrivals for today to the airport there. Only 1 was are international - Luxemburg, cargo.

If HRC was the Governor of Indiana and used a commercial email account for non-work stuff, I wouldn't care.

Nobody inside Pence's org back then has said he had them send classified information to his personal account, unlike HRC. There is no proof (yet) to say he was trying to hide any communications nor did he attempt to keep state-related emails. It wasn't a systematic only use AOL situation.

He wasn't running the email server. I'd be embarrassed to have an AOL account in 2000, much less in 2016. AOL is commonly used by the over 60 crowd, even today. AOL has a team of professionals running their email servers. Not 1 guy. This is another difference.

Governors aren't part of the Federal govt. They deal with state issues and nearby states (mostly), not sensitive, international issues constantly.

Plus the FBI doesn't want to open an investigation about this. Why is that? The only comparison is email. Everything after that is typical, lefty, crap.

Should someone look deeper? Sure. If there is classified materials found, then we need to follow the laws about that and he needs jail time.

Does that make me a hypocrite?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Pence got in problem because he used his private email for mixing with Indiana government official document. I think about all politicians do that, especially old ones who grew when computers were were not laptop yet.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The most popular cellphone right now is the Nokia 3310. -and they sell a gold Putin edition. So it makes total sense to me that Pence is still using AOL. Why fix something that is not broke? Many Japanese still use Windows XP and those same people are probably galapagos phone holdouts.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

AOL!! Hilarious! That's like using a Hotmail address. Beyond passe. My iCQ number is newer. Is he still using AIM? Did the Russians A/S/L him?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I like this one:

Pence’s contacts were sent an email falsely claiming that the governor and his wife were stranded in the Philippines and needed money.

Why cannot we (at least we Americans) quit bitching about whose side does "worse" deeds and call out ALL politicians on this. Otherwise the system will never, ever be repaired (Probably already beyond repair anyway).

Will never happen

0 ( +0 / -0 )

they are desperate and know they are going to jail, this is just propaganda and fake news to distract from the horrible crimes they have committed. sessions is filing the paperwork to start prosecution. they are in a panic. a drowning man grabbing any floating object, even a straw, to save himself

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

"Why is Hillary still free, then? lol"

"Ask your pal, Trump. He's the one who said he would put her in jail on his first day in office."

He never said he would put her in jail on his first day in office, plus that would be against the law, first she has to be charged. Give Sessions some time, lol.

Pence isn't going anywhere, you cannot compare the two, Pence's "scandal" is nothing compared to Hillary's.

It doesn't matter, she's not president, so let her roam freely, could care less, she's a grandmother now, good luck to her.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I don't have a problem with Dems holding on to their principles, but this is beyond mental and the GOP never sank to that level.

The Republicans published the playbook on sinking low. The democrats are just reading from that playbook.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The Democrats though had over 50 years to perfect the art of political sleaziness.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Probably will happen when you see snow blizzard falling in Texas.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

We thought the same thing about Trump becoming president.

And yet he did. Dems thought they could keep the House, they couldn't, they thought they could keep the Senate, they couldn't, they thought they wouldn't lose over 1000 legislative seats, they did, they never thought they would lose so many gubernatorial races, they did. Talk about hope and change....

Seems probable Texas will get a blizzard considering Pence was guilty of the exact thing he and Trump were criticizing Hillary for.

Yeah it might, but you and I won't be around to see it.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

And yet he did.

Yep, so don't be surprised if he ends up in jail.

Lock him up! Lock him up!

Moderator: You've been asked twice to stop posting "Lock him up" at the end of your comments. You can have 24 hours off to refamiliarize yourself with the rules of the discussion board. In particular, please note that the moderatoring decisions are final at all times..

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Naw, will never happen, not worried one bit. I hope the Dems keep going down these rabbit holes. But it does make for good comedy.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

He used a private server

Not according to the article. He used a personal e-mail account (AOL). There's a difference.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

If someone wants to use AOL email that is their choice. Probably one of few options for Galapagos phone users. One could argue that a 56k dial-up AOL account is more secure than a direct internet account also.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

The Democrats though had over 50 years to perfect the art of political sleaziness.

Heh, in a news story where your guy just got busted for doing something he knew he was doing while calling out Hillary for doing it just a couple of months ago, you're trying to call the opposition sleazy. Yeah right.

Lock him up! Lock him up!

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Mike Pence in prison is a funny thought. He could preach about praying away the gay in the showers.

Thankfully, it's just a thought.

I guess he never got around to it--wonder why.

Who cares, most important thing is, she is NOT in the WH! That's vindication right there.

This degree of far-right projection is staggering.

Like what?

One thing's for sure, with the degree of glee that right-wingers have when they're making up false accusations at their opponents for doing what the right-wingers themselves have done, I wouldn't want to be a friend of Trump's who owns a pizza restaurant with a basement.

Really? Such as?

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Is it fair to say Trump fans here are giving Pence a free pass on this? I don't even see a hint of criticism.

No, but there is no smoke, there is no fire, now I know the Gremlin liberals are trying to set some fires all around this administration. Keep it up. LOL

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Heh the guy who went on about Hillary's email for years,

Yes, because of what it led to and that is people were brutally murdered. Here we have maybe a conflict of interest, impropriety, ethics question. Apples and bananas comparison. I wish the Dems the best of luck. I have the address of a shovel shop where gold plated shovels are half off this week.

Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!

Never going to happen. LOL

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Lol the unhinged left wing is digging deep into nonsense for their fabricated world. There is a big difference between using an email from a known commercial service and everyone knows you have the email as opposed to Hillary setting up a secret email server, no one knows is secret and is used to store classified data and used to coordinate her RICO scam and other crimes.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Not news. It's okay to use email this way if classified national-security information isn't involved (which Indiana's state government wouldn't be dealing with). Unlike the private email use of a certain former secretary of state who we all know.

This is just another distraction and deflection by the left-leaning media to try to de-legitimize the Trump presidency.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

"Sure. If there is classified materials found, then we need to follow the laws about that and he needs jail time."

Why is Hillary still free, then? lol

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

At least Pence didn't jeopardize national security lke Hillary did. If Hillary can still walk the streets ( though she almost always rides around in a car ), I guess Pence can, lol.

Madverts: "Like him up indeed......"

OK, I like him! Tee hee!

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Ok, so did Russia do this hacking too? Kind of kills the narrative if so.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Seems to be a "fake news" story. If Mike Pence wants to use a "jurassic" AOL email account for his personal Indiana State emails that is his choice. With all the GMail hacks maybe AOL is the better choice now. -and just maybe Mike Pence also uses a 56K modem to access his "dial-up" AOL email account.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

Referring to leaks, instead of 'elements', did you mean 'evidence'?

Yes, typo

If so, what evidence have you heard or seen that corroborates this, that the leaks came from the left? Please cite a source. If not, instead please say that's your opinion.

Told you before, it's not necessary because you always dismiss every single evidence I put up regardless the source, so I'll pass, respectively.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

I think Trump should drain the swamp in his cabinet and get rid of any left overs from the previous admin. that's the first area to look to start, get rid of all of those Fed workers, purge them and that should take care of the problem at least in that department and continue narrowing the circle.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

I predict that Democrats will be a very insignificant party as they have a very myopic view of politics.

-14 ( +0 / -14 )

Yeah, but the GOP weren't all over the place, also Trump is trying to work with Dems, the majority refuse, NOT even trying to work with him. I don't have a problem with Dems holding on to their principles, but this is beyond mental and the GOP never sank to that level. Also, the Dems should remember, if it ever happens that they take the WH or the House or the Senate, Republicans can and might do the same to the Democrats, so I caution them to be careful, they should never be under the false impressions that if they get a majority that all of this vile and hate can't be redirected towards them. They should choose their battles carefully and not go all ape**** thinking they are immune from Karma.

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

So you think he should leave his own swampy elements in then right?

Unless they are leaking constant information, but from the looks of it all the elements points heavily to the left.

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

Let he hypocrisy begin!

Begin?? Where were you in 2010?

Because we all know if Republicans do exactly that which they have criticised for others, it is suddenly okay (for them... they still might reopen investigations into the others for the tenth time).

Well, if you go by Wikileaks and thank god for them, otherwise we would have never known the truth.

If the comparison is "absurd", then why does Pence refuse to make the records public -- you know, according to Indiana law?

Why would he have to? He is not obliged to and as a vice president is under No obligation to do so.

-20 ( +0 / -20 )

Let's hope he resigns. Taking himself out of the running in readiness for the Orange Chum's impeachment.

That's like me saying, I hope the Democrats move to the moon.
