The U.S. has about 28,500 troops based in South Korea and has maintained a military presence there since the Korean war ended in 1953.

How many nukes are pointed at NK?

The US accuse North Korean of human rights abuse. Listen who is talking. US history is full with human rights violations, support for dictators, CIA actions leading to wars, looking the other way when countries like Israel sells weapons despite an arms embargo and the US's use of nuclear weapons and extensive use of chemical weapons. There will never be peace as long the US is allowed to do as it pleases.

And then there is the issue about the US/Japanese peace treaty. Peace in the area means the US army has to move out.
