Thanks for all the mammaries.

Back in junior high my buds and I all bought Penthouse, it was definitely better than Playboy. Sometimes the store clerk would refuse to sell to us, and we'd have to go to another place, LOL.
We not only enjoyed the photos, we enjoyed reading the column by this chick who gave advice on sex. I'd relate a couple of them, but then this post would surely be zapped, heh heh.

You can see that with all the changes in media, buying companies, wives coming and going, children etc that Bob found it difficult to keep abreast of what was going on and lost nearly all the $400 mil. But oh what a life and what influence he has had

Man, this news takes me back a few decades. I remember if I wanted to see nude pictures while underage in the mid-1960s, the old mainstay was National Geographic.

So you're saying for nude you went to NG; for naked you went for PH?

He may have lost most of his money in the end but what a ride. Thanks for fostering a young boy's curiosity.

Penthouse was the only magazine that dared to publish excerpts from Pushkin's Secret Journal 1836-1837 that not a single major US publisher published till now in spite that this book is published in 24 countries and the new editions are coming out in France and Spain next year.

Some US mothers still find these things stashed in a barn or wall... course she cannot actually open them due to mold and other things. I was a Penthouse reader and my fraternity was smothered in it and we used it as wallpaper in the guy's toilets.

So you were into plate in lips and long long necks?

Bob always had his ups and downs but it's nice to see that he mostly kept it up.

Pages from Penthouse adorned the inside of many high school locker room doors including mine. And yea, they blew Playboy away. Not sure if Guccione did any real "good" for society or not but he certaibly was an icon of the times.
