Peru to deport tourists over Machu Picchu damage

I guess a few tourists in the past did such things, but... now as Modern day Tourism is accessible to most, it involves a larger scale of visitors, so conservation rules need to be adhered to for the benefit of future visitors.

Banning these individuals from returning to the site is a natural reaction- publicizing the fact, is a warning to others who may be planning to do the same. The next step, will unfortunately be presumably naming the next set of individuals involved...
