This is all well and good until they shoot your brother for being a "drug dealer", when the kid was just hanging out with the wrong people at the wrong time. When you kill that many you can't always be certain of their guilt.

So the Philippines acts like other countries did 100 years ago.

Congratulations on embarrassing yourself and setting your nation's mentality back even further. May those who were murdered RIP.

Extrajudicial, vigilante, anarchistic... whatever you want to call it; Duterte's regime is out of control.

(Reminds me of how opposing factions within the loyalist and republican circles would off one another in the name of justice. How they'd run drug dealers out/kneecap them or worse and then take their places.

Not all but there were definitely some who weren't just about loyalty to the British Crown or aiming for Irish independence.)

Dark days.

It's a really scary thing to give police officers the powers of judge, jury and executioner. I hope I never see it here.

But Malaysia is still a US ally, hence the media double standard.

The PI is an American ally as well, there is no double standard.

This has been going on the Philippines for decades. Ask Google sensei about the Davao death squads. However, the fact it continues to happen and they continue to kill many involved in drugs means it is not working to control drugs in the nation.

Duterte recently answered a question from a Japanese journalist

"The Americans are refusing to sell you arms" ?

No Problem, Buy one , get one free from Russia

sus·pect

1. a person thought to be guilty of a crime or offense.

These are 32 "suspects" - SUSPECTS - Not convicted of anything or proven to be guilty even, just 32 people thought to be guilty gunned down.

That's scary.
