This has Banana Republic written all over it.

Ms. Sara Duterte is the Philippines' worst vice president in history. As a lawyer herself, she is vulgar and belligerent. I am shocked to know people supporting this kind of unhinged politician.
Instead of showing up personally to the queries of the quad committee of Congress, she sent her clueless employees so she could dodge her corruption allegations. And that’s not even enough, she rants online on social media and at press conferences spitting unfounded and proofless claims. From death threats to filthy profanity to exaggerated drama, she puts the Philippines in the spotlight worldwide with her immature and barbaric behavior.
I am glad the President, after a long silence, is finally standing up and condemning her hostility.
Shame on this woman.

Sadly for the Philippines when there is a corruption allegation it is usually the pot telling the kettle is black.
At the end of the day the average Filipino/a is the real victim.

Really puts things in perspective that China is closer to the Philippines in gdp per capita than the US, doesn't it?
Fighto!
Politics in the Philippines is high farce - with crime families like the Dutertes and Marcoses dominating perpetually.
Filipino people are fine, hard-working folk and deserve far better than this.

Well, it was a worth a try Uncle Sam. The Philippines was never expected to perform against China. You can't count on a little banana republic to overthrow or start war with the CCP. China wins again.
Vietnam...lost. Taiwan...no war. Tibet...no independence. Hong Kong...riots clamped down. Xinjiang...John Deer CP770 Cotton picker so forced labor. Try Myanmar from the south or Russia from the north.
I have better ideas on destabilization than these failed attempts.
