Classic textbook despot. And what the hell is he wearing?? You are meeting others head of state. Show some respect.

Have the thousands of murders Duterte's sanctioned and even committed helped lessen the wealth gap in the Philippines? Is the oligarchipelago seeing a reversal of the brain drain since the autocrat took over? Are millions of educated and talented Filipinos now able to stay home and be with their families instead of continuing to go work below their skill levels in Arab Gulf countries, Singapore, Hong Kong and other places?
Are Duterte, Trump, Putin, Erdogan and other despots actually improving the quality of life for their nation's citizens as they promised, or are they just further lining their own pockets and those of their family members and supporters.
It looks like many places want to get rid of democratic systems and return to an era when autocrats ruled.

I don't want to defend him, but the barong (I think it's called) is formal wear in the Philippines.

I honestly can't wait until Duterte gets his. He's put the Philippines back decades, and proven to be a far worse terrorist and thug than anyone he purports to fight against. He's admitted it, and said he loves being compared to Hitler even. All his war on drugs has accomplished is the murder of thousands of innocents as well as further corruption of the police force there.
