I do Japan also bans him. That video clip I saw of him talking about Tokyo women was absolutely appalling. I not one for violence but if I saw him in Japan acting the way he claims he does I think I'd be unable not to intervene.

Too funny!

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Now I just wish it were possible to revoke his U.S. citizenship. What an embarrassment.

13 ( +15 / -2 )

I think we need to get away from banning people we just don't like. What is Britain, a nightclub? You've already let in a host of undesirables as permanent residents.

-14 ( +12 / -26 )

The precedent Japan immigration needed?

4 ( +7 / -3 )

If Mr. blanc is a savvy business person, he will spin this attention to sell more seats at his seminars. He will call himself the world's most dangerous pick-up artist. He will tell those interested that he was banned because countries were afraid of his skills to pick up women.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

I'm sure this won't really faze him. We live in the age of the internet and I'm sure he will still rake in oodles of money from stupid people willing to pay him for his crappy advice through web seminars. I agree with 'simondB'...if I saw him going about his methods on the street, I would certainly step in.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I am in my 50's, and do not have any trouble finding a date in Japan. I hardly think some IDIOT grabbig the back of a womans neck in a bar / dance floor and forcing it ( her, her face ) to his crotch, a " Pick Up Artist ". Sounds more like a serial rapest to ME.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

This jerk's just racking up the wins, isn't he? Australia just banned him from entering their country too. And rightfully so. The guy's an asshat of epic proportion. I'm embarrassed to say he shares American citizenship, although I'm pretty confident the Swiss don't want to lay claim to the troll either.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

So, is he coming to Japan or not? And are Japanese immigration still hush hush?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The guys an idiot for sure but doesn't he have the right to free speech and travel? I mean if he called his methods a religion there would be no issues (unfortunately)

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

Wrong type of sexism Mr Blanc. If you thought women were basically property and treated them like dirt because of your religion - then you could come in.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

I think women should also be a little more intelligent and cautious of guys coming up and sweet talking them. Everyone falls in love in one day. If the guy touches them then call the cops. Girls, you are falling for old tricks.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Sort of like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton. People rip on them yet they make millions from their shows. Ban him privately if you hope for his failure. If he is huge news, people want to follow and lots of money will be paid.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

I think the WORLD should ban him

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Blanc blanked. Wonderful! It is just a pity Julien can't be julienned.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

" that granting Blanc a visa “could have led to an increase in sexual violence and harassment”. "

Isn`t that grossly overestimating the power of this idiot?

I think it is ironic that the UK government gets so riled up about this single moron, but keeps its immigration and welfare doors wide open to islamist hate preachers. Barking up the wrong tree in a major way.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

A UK ban before any criminal charges (past or present) or warrants have been produced. The guy is scum, but I held the UK to higher judicial standards...until now. Also revoking someones citizenship (a birthright in America) over something as petty as allegations (remember no claims have been put forward) is slippery slope. Hate the guy all you want, but as a government think bigger.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

So they haven't granted him a work visa but he can still visit the UK as a tourist right? If not, then I think it's a ridiculous over reaction.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

yes VISA is banned, but his loser dovetees can still do the training ON LINE or by SKYPE and the women all over the world are still under threat... Jail this loser and stop his seminars both live and on line, that's what the world should do.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

'I can assure you the traditional conservatives will not tolerate this "con-artist"...hell I bet not even old fashion households where men are considered the head of the house are too keen of this individual's borderline criminal methods..ugh'

I can assure you that as odious as this man is, the 'traditional' view of a woman's place held by those whose views are becoming more and more difficult to criticise in the UK is a far greater problem.

IT is unfair not legally justified to take away his right to free speech or his right to travel. No formal charges have been brought against him. Nor has he been arrested.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

@JWithers

No need for legal justification. If the UK Home Secretary decides his, or anybody's entering the country would "not be conducive to the public good", then it's no.

Fair or not, them's the rules.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

What is Britain, a nightclub?

"Sorry, private party. Try again tomorrow night."

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The funniest thing is that he claims to have been joking, which I actually think he might have been, but if so it has backfired badly. The whole world now thinks he's an idiot.

That said, I read some internet nonsense headline describing him as the "most hated man in the world". What rubbish - you can't compare self-promotional misogynist stupidity with the hateworthiness of ultra scum bags like Al Baghdadi and his army of brainwashed junkies.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

@Frontandcentre Exactly. Others on this thread have pointed out how the UK allows in people preaching foul nonsense ( some of which includes medieval views of the treatment of women ) which makes this guy look like a progressive in comparison. I've got no time for this idiot but the double standards are staggering.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I'd like to see this clown try his Pikachu head-to-crotch routine with my Japanese missus. She'd drag him by his stubbly chin to the nearest Koban.

Just to be clear, one does not possess an unfettered right to enter any country of his or her choosing. If a given country decides that allowing a non-citizen entrance would result in some sort of negative effect, however minor others may perceive that effect to be, that country is well within its rights to stop that non-citizen at the point of entry and say, "No."

1 ( +4 / -3 )

I saw his Tokyo visit one, and it is just plane raw obnoxious humour. Those who cannot see through that should look within themselves for what they want the world to come.

He is no worse than what the guys on TV here do to degrade women all the time. Inflicting physical pain as well as mental seems to be part of the comedy makeup of this country. Look at Beat Takashi. The man is mean.

Humor comes in different forms. I do not agree with all of it, but I am not going to push my values on another culture.

LFRAgain:

" Just to be clear, one does not possess an unfettered right to enter any country of his or her choosing. "

Err... your current potus seems to disagree. Couldn´t Blanc just slip into the UK as "undocumented immigrant"? It works in other places...

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

All those who believe they have the right to travel where ever they want - what planet are you on? Any country has the right to stop anyone they consider undesirable from entering their borders.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

JapanGal

I saw his Tokyo visit one, and it is just plane raw obnoxious humour. Those who cannot see through that should look within themselves for what they want the world to come.

uhmmm, people should know the boundery line of what is humor and what is not, you cannot just use "humor" as an excuse for everything. Why? because it is funny? so it is Humor? It seems funny to some, but the danger is he is encouraging desperate strangers (a non desperate man would not go take his lessons) to practice these insane methods out there to anyone and I don't think it is a "joke" as some of these creeps are taking these seriously and what they do is not a comedy show but a "seminar" and he made that clear on his statements, so I don't think you can compare his seminars to other Comedy shows as the purpose are totally different .

If grabbing any female pedestrian on the street and forcing their faces on a man's crotch is funny for you, please consider the other Japanese women around you. If it's scripted, it's fine, but it wasn't, he's already done crimes to some of these women (on videos), he was just lucky that they didn't complain. Plus his seminars are fooling their followers by saying that WHITE MEN, can do anything they want to any JAPANESE WOMEN, some Japanese women are into white men, but not ALL (Not even the majority). And I think if these losers find that out, the complex that they had before will double up as they paid him at least 3,000 dollars for something that they think the solution to their problems and wake up the next day to find out that they are still LOSERS.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

All those who believe they have the right to travel where ever they want - what planet are you on?

They still look at the world through rose-coloured glasses.

And Any Country has a RIGHT to block and protect their citizen from sexual offenders.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

He is NOT a registered sex offender.

Innocent until proven guilty.

As JapanGirl said. There is far worse here in Japan.

I understand though. Perhaps you prefer your "jerks" homegrown.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

What's really scary is how many desperate guys actually sign up for his coarse!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

I assume "coarse" is a brilliant play-on-words. His course does indeed seem to be coarse.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Something doesn't add up with this guy and the stories I've been reading....

0 ( +1 / -1 )

To those bleating about free speech... the man is a misogynistic creep and rightly deserves to be banned from every country that wants it female population safe from his groping minions. I'm glad my country banned him... and I hope Japan does the same thing. This tosser needs to return to his rock and crawl back under it.

When the story about this predator first showed up on Japan Today, I went to the Real Social Dynamics website and saw 31 corporate logos of various media companies, including CNN, Playboy, MTV, ABC, BBC, The New York Times, Bravo, GQ, msnbc, FOX NEWS, Men's Health, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Yahoo!, news.com.au, The Australian, and AOL, in the footer of all of the Real Social Dynamics webpages.

Today, when I read that he was on CNN, I went back to the Real Social Dynamics website and found that all of the corporate logos of the media companies had been removed. (Sometime between Nov. 6 & 11, according to a search using the Internet Wayback Machine at archive.org., using: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.realsocialdynamics.com)

Get a few cease-and-desist letters from various companies' lawyers, Real Social Dynamics?

It is easy, This man offends women through his actions, speeches and "seminars", as the population of women in the world can see it, so are the boyfriends, brothers and parents, as for Al Baghdadi I have no idea who is him nor what has he done..., at least me and my friends in my country

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Al baghdadi...really..you really don't know who this guy is!!!!!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So JapanGal, you would be fine with this creep grabbing you round the neck or shoving your face into his crotch? You'd deck him, I'm sure.

As far as I can tell he is another of these yanks who thinks Asian women are easy... and because Japanese are by and large friendly he exploits that. He makes me sick... and his exploits are in danger of tarring all Caucasian men with the same brush. He and his sad followers are literally a pain in the neck.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

He's a CAVE MAN!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Here's a clip of the Nov. 17 CNN interview, where he's saying he's "sorry."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPT5dFHK3wo

It seems to me that he's sorry for getting caught, not for doing these things in the first place.

What a moron.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

JWithers

I don't know why you keep on defending this jerk and what will be your basis to officially brand him as a sexual offender? why will you wait for the court to prove him guilty first when on his videos and his teachings it's clear that he's sexually abusing women and promoting sexual harrasment.

If you see a female in the train being groped by a man, will you not consider that man as a sex offender because their case hasn't brought to the court yet?

No need to wait for the court to prove him guilty, you should just simply use your common sense to determine that.

As JapanGirl said. There is far worse here in Japan.

that's another good reason to ban him as Japan has enough sexual predators already and they don't need another one!
