Hearing the testimony, particularly about their emails...he sound like a volatile control freak. Why she stayed with him after all of the tantrums and threats ....?

After one shot, you would have heard your wife screaming. Why would you keep shooting? And why would you just assume she was hiding behind a curtain, would any sane person just start firing his gun into your own bathroom without first confirming? This guy is whacko and crying because he has finally realized what atrocity he has done. What vulnerability, just because he had no legs? He can move without his prothesis, and can hold a gun just fine. Sorry buddy, but you must pay for your crime.

Not necessarily. It depends on where she was shot, and/or the degree of shock it would have caused to be suddenly shot and/or the speed at which the shots were made. If he shot her in the head first - no screaming. If he shot her and she was too in shock to scream before he shot her again - no screaming. If he shot her in rapid succession multiple times - no screaming.

Ok, fair enough Strangerland. But it appears the first shot was to her hip breaking her hip bone causing her to fall onto the magazine rack cubicle where she had her hands over her head trying to protect herself. 2nd shot they gather bounced off the wall and bruised her back. They speculate either the 3rd or last shot was to her head. It is not clear how successive the shots were...

This man acted in a fit of rage. A rage he is known to possess and has showed before. Traits he has denied, of course, on advice of council. A trigger happy rage that killed Steenkamp. A fact that his lawyers, his well paid lawyers are trying to deny. A fact Pistorius now regrets, or pretends to regret. Shedding tears, showing his unstable character that won't undo what he did. Will justice be done? Will the presented evidence satisfy the law to convict this man or will he go free on account of his clever team of lawyers having found a way to clear someone potentially guilty of a homicide?
