The young statistically have no problem from the virus, but they still have the same (small, but still off-scale compared to traditional vaccines) risk of adverse reactions from the mRNA vaccine as everyone else. So for them it is a bad proposition.

Just more government coercion. Do politicians really think people are this stupid?

In my experience, UK pizza ranks right up there with UK burgers as foods to be strictly avoided.

When you're right, you're right.

It's time to leverage the power of Marmite.

People who like it but are hesitant to get vaccinated should be offered a month's supply if they get the vaccine.

People who hate it should be offered, and forced to eat, a month's supply if they don't get the vaccine.

Win for the NHS (fewer people getting seriously sick) and PR gold for Marmite.

They try it in many countries with such gimmicks, from a barbecued sausage , some money, up to car lotteries. Although that sounds interesting, the real problem is, that now everyone still unvaccinated waits even longer, because the offered prizes could even become more and more valuable. Could also be a million dollars or a truck full of bitcoins, right? The general effect is just only disastrous, as no one undecided will take the vaccination immediately, but just wait what they have still in store as the possible maximum win.

UK is not known for pizzas nor burgers - they're known for fish & chips. Offer that instead

They're not at risk, leave them alone. Stop trying to use them as human shields

Children are at risk, not only of death but also serious developmental problems that can be permanent, in a much higher degree than any vaccine.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Yes, for the young, the risks of vaccination clearly outweigh the benefits. Trying to entice them with pizza is sick

That is as false now as every time you repeat it, every time when somebody ask you to present any data that shows more risk from vaccines than from the infection for any group you never present anything.

In reality the risk from infection, even if small, is still much larger than the risk from vaccines, even for young people.

Your claim was that "Children are at risk, not only of death but also serious developmental problems that can be permanent, in a much higher degree than any vaccine." None of your find addresses that. Are you perhaps just googling for keywords without reading your finds?

The links clearly demonstrate the risks.

No they do not. Your links only talk about the virus affecting children without giving any numbers how much of that occurs, much less comparing it to figures from vaccine damage.

The VAERS and EMA clearly show that the risk from the mRNA vaccines is off-scale compared to traditional vaccines. That much we know. How it compares to the risk from the infection is debated among the experts, and for us laymen on the readers forum to make strong opinions based on newspaper articles that do not even touch the topic is definitely pointless.

In America, they give the chance to win scholarships, etc, and NYC is giving out 100 dollars. In Hong Kong, you get put into a lottery to win things like free apartments. And the UK? Free frigging pizza!!! The empire and its riches are long gone, I guess.

I suppose those of us in Japan shouldn't be critical. The vaccine itself is the actual lottery prize.

Oliver Twist only got an extra bowl of gruel. Pizza is definitely an improvement, and it only took 180 years to achieve.

Still, the idea of giving out free pizza is deeply ironic considering the state of youth obesity in the UK now. Perhaps they'll be giving out deep fried Mars bars in Scotland.

You have any study that backs that up?

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Personally I do not know of any children that have suffered from the virus.

Nor do I know of anyone that has died.

I have and am

still suffering side effects from my first injection.

I personally know of no hospital suffering

(despite knowing several nurses and doctors) from an influx of patients with Covid that cannot be treated.

We can read on the internet all we want but it is my personal experiences which dictate my actions

Not exactly.

Report: 13-year-old dies in sleep after getting COVID-19 vaccine; CDC investigating

Oh, I bet the pharma mouthpieces will quickly rule it was unrelated. 13 year olds die in their sleep all the time. As Dr. Robert Malone mentioned regarding a number of cases that were reported to the authorities in Canada: "each was summarily determined to not be vaccine related by the authorities without significant investigation."

The VAERS and EMA clearly show that the risk from the mRNA vaccines is off-scale compared to traditional vaccines

That is the part is wrong, neither VAERS nor EMA show such a thing, because neither show risks elevated from what is present in the unvaccinated population. Unless you think vaccines somehow increase the risk on UNvaccinated people there is no way they can increase the risks on both populations.

A scientific report was included in the references, and the articles have the opinion of experts, that completely contradict your criticism about them. The risk from the disease is clear, while there is no evidence of risk at the same level from vaccines.

It is something commonly reported between the experts, the weight of evidence is on their side

That is as false now as every time you repeat it, every time when somebody asks you to present any data that shows less risk from vaccines than from the infection for healthy kids you never present anything.

So that is your "data"? how come you still fail to produce it? I on the other side can simply link to the professional opinion of the experts that actually present that data routinely.

Glad to see you are implicitly accepting you have no such data, and therefore the information you repeat is false, misleading.

Oh, I bet the pharma mouthpieces will quickly rule it was unrelated.

You mean you have data that proves an increased incidence compared with the unvaccinated population of the same demographics? you should present it, and tell Malone to do the same, for some reason he seems terrified of making even simple epidemiologic arguments about what he concludes.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

..does not support your claim.

How not? there is no report of problems or deaths on children because of the vaccines at those rates, if you have clear evidence of damage from the infection and no evidence of comparable damage from the vaccines there is no other valid conclusion.

The links clearly demonstrate the risks.

A potentially severe and dangerous complication can occur in children. Called multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), it can lead to life-threatening problems with the heart and other organs in the body. In this condition, different body parts, such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes, or gastrointestinal organs, can become inflamed.

However, some children become severely ill with COVID-19. They might need to be hospitalized, treated in the intensive care unit or placed on a ventilator to help them breathe, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The main outcomes of the study were hospitalization as well as severe illness (defined as ICU admission, invasive mechanical ventilation, or death) during hospitalization.

What do you think is the value of pretending links do not show the very important risk some children do have from the Infection (that also includes death)? the links are there still, they prove exactly the point you want to pretend is not included. Even if you want to bet on people never following the links and notice how they completely contradict you it should be clear they are obviously not a product of an exhaustive search and anybody could find easily much more evidence.

Zaphod

Absolutely not. These systems aren't designed to assess the risk of any vaccine. Stop trying to use these systems for such. They are of no use to you.

Just more government coercion

Delirium. This is not coercive. It is an incentive.

We’ve always known the political right are driven by fear. This pandemic and vaccines in particular have shown many of them to be outright hysterical.

As my grandfather ( a WW2 veteran ) said of the younger generation, can you imagine this lot storming the Normandy beaches?

Many of them would be in the basement using social media calling the war a conspiracy theory.
