" so that the normally immaculate building could get a thorough cleaning"
How do they normally clean the place, that it needs to be emptied of people? sand basters? flash floods to flush it out?
Anyway, good to hear that it's all peaceful.

Gosh, what great coverage sounds like a regular slumber party with just oodles of love all around. I wonder why Governor Walker just doesn't pop down from the Office and shake a few hands with these fine totally unangry folks.
SolidariTea
and the young "protesters" desecrating war memorials...
Smorkian
Gee, I don't see this in the article. Must be another "fact" constructed out of thin air?
SolidariTea
And caught on film, strangely enough. Afraid of what you might see, if you actually did the search???
Smorkian
Just did. It's quite disrespectful but hardly a desecration.

These protesters still don't get it. The Wisconsin state government is broke.
Smorkian
Only according to the man trying to bust the unions. According to the AP article from the other day the state is NOT broke.
globalwatcher
Wisconsin is NOT broke.

Federal gov is freezing pay raise for the federal employees for the next 2 years, so why not for state public employees. Everyone has to learn to give up something while fiscal (Fed/State)policy are challenged. The statement I have made previously conflicts to the statement I am making here. The issue is that Gov. Walker is using this as an excuse to break unions.
yabits
That pretty much says it all.

Police are unionized, did Walker think they are idiots? They know what a "slippery slope" is, of course they were not going to force people out if they are acting lawfully.
Yep, and that someone is not you. Snake-oil salesman, nothing more.

It does. My respect that the right free speech and protest are being protected.
SolidariTea
Cops and collectivists on the same side. Interesting times we live in.
globalwatcher
@SolidariTea, interesting times we live in? Where have you been? They have been UNIONIZED for the past 55 yrs. He--lloo?!
