There's no need to flaunt it on public streets.

When straight people stop wearing wedding rings and holding hands down the street, I'll start listening to that kind of argument.

Pride is important because lgbtq people spend so much time being oppressed in all sorts of ways. It's exhausting having to exist in a world that doesn't have room for you. Having to take stock of where you are, who is around you, and if it's safe before you do something as innocuous as reach over to take a hand or ANYTHING that could identify you as possibly being more than just friends.

The photo in this article has nothing in it that would be noticed for a second on the street if it was a straight couple. There's nothing that needs be "kept in the bedroom" in this photo. The fact that you're reducing it to "bedroom" talk just shows that you haven't actually considered the issues of living while lgbtq because it doesn't just exist in the bedroom. People are still gay when they go to the grocery store. People are still gay when they go to the movies. People are still gay when they go to a restaurant.

I totally get why someone might want to take the sexy stuff out of gay pride, but there's so much more than that happening at a pride march. It's the freedom to be yourself and be seen and to be allowed to take up space in a world that constantly minimizes you and makes it dangerous to be seen.

Christianity is supposed to be a religion of God and love, not hatred and bullying.

Romantic attraction is more than the 'sexy stuff'. GLBT by biological nature are a minority and always will be, but that's no excuse to be persecuting them. it's stupid to be persecuting what you don't understand but it IS a natural occurrence, not a choice. Homosexuality exists in some animal species as well, again - it's a small percentage.

I'm not gay but I do admire how they've shown over the years that most of them are not the monsters we've been told they are. However, I must say, that last photo of the man imitating Jesus Christ - not only is it sacrilegious at best, it also cheapens Jesus' death, any death by crucifixion, and you won't sway too many folks to sympathize with you or your cause with a disgusting gimmick like that.

And as for 'right-wing' protestors, how Serbia has changed. Serbian fascist dictator Milosevic nearly single-handedly destroyed Yugoslavia thru his oppression, lies and outright brutality and the worst cases of war crimes of genocide and mass rapes since WW2. That scumbag got overthrown 22 years ago and died in a prison 6 years later.

Lord help the next guy I see kissing his wife in public. Gonna hate crime him right there and then. It’s disgusting. Heteros rubbing their degenerate lifestyle choice in everyone’s faces? They even do it in front of CHILDREN, for God’s sake.

As an LGBTQ person, I’m fine with heteros. I even have a few hetero friends. But it’s frankly immoral that they don’t keep it behind closed doors. I even heard that the local elementary school celebrates Valentine’s Day. And people are somehow just okay with this blatant indoctrination in our schools!

I don’t hate heteros. That’s their choice. But what I do hate is their heterosexual agenda. Forcing men and women to kiss in movies and on TV, all to satisfy some woke checklist meant to exclude LGBTQ people, purely for political points.

Yes we did. And everybody gave Valentines to everybody else, boy AND girl, in the classroom and the teacher too ! Aw, Don't Stand So Close To Me.

And to think, in elementary school up to the 5th grade you aren't developed enough to feel any attraction to anyone of any gender at all. Oh my my!
