“We are going to keep “fighting”

Suddenly this word is ok again- not an incitement to violence.

chicago mayor put out a “call to arms” which means armed insurrection. Perfectly ok. Cause Dems.

Cause some people don't understand the idea of context.

“We are going to keep “fighting”

Suddenly this word is ok again- not an incitement to violence.

Of course it’s fine. Only fans of 45 are mindless enough to believe it means physically fighting. Duh.

Oh that’s a change. The word “fight” was said by Dems be an “incitement to violence” last year when it suited their narratives of the time.

glad to see it magically shifted back to what it actually means in this context.

seems you memory holed all that once it’s inconvenient to you.

Cause some people don't understand the idea of context.

So what’s the context?

I understand it to be an elected official who is dissatisfied with the decision of the Supreme Court and wants it changed.

this person is advocating armed insurrection and physical intimidation by using “arms” (weapons) to change the decision by force.

what context do you see?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Under the Ice Cream Man administration

It’s OK, in other words, to incite violence on Twitter, as long as it’s for the right cause, against the right people.

Except this isn’t true, and you know it.

Tell that to the people that threw a Molotov cocktail at an anti-abortion center.

Why can’t christians just let people have freedom of choice?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

US government are correct in removing freedoms of American women to operate as they please. If the US allows women freedom, what will the country become?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Political reality - Congress can't save or end abortion:

With more Americans indulging in casual, free and frequent sexual activities even among teenagers, unwanted pregnancies would be abundant.

If females insist on abortion to get rid of their mental and physical burden, why not let them be..?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Why can’t christians just let people have freedom of choice?

That’s why the SC is turning the wronged decision of Roe v. Wade back to the people, so they do indeed have that freedom of choice to vote on the issue.

Bass4funk - or, we could allow even more freedom of choice, and let each woman decide for herself if she wants an abortion. That way, everyone is happy.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Except this isn’t true, and you know it.

I actually don’t know it. Then what is the intent of a “call to arms”? Wave your arms around in the air? and how is it much worse than “fight like hell”?

and yes there has already been numerous instances of violence related to the leak of the ruling.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

or, we could allow even more freedom of choice, and let each woman decide for herself if she wants an abortion.

Again, that was this ruling by the SC will do for both sides, they can vote on it. Funny now how all of a sudden the left knows what a woman is and they didn't even use birthing person....odd.

That way, everyone is happy.

I agree.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Bass - what I was referring to was to allow each woman to decide for herself, not for the State to decide for her. Be that as it may, I am at least glad to see that you wouldn't be in favor of a nationwide abortion ban.

Bass: That’s why the SC is turning the wronged decision of Roe v. Wade

?

Can you go into more detail on this?

It’s not odd. I also support the right for any trans man, agender, intersex, or non-binary person to get an abortion.

Can you go into more detail on this?

Makes sense

what I was referring to was to allow each woman to decide for herself, not for the State to decide for her.

And that is what will happen once this is overturned. By the way, what's the difference between men supporting Pro-choice and men supporting Pro-life?

Be that as it may, I am at least glad to see that you wouldn't be in favor of a nationwide abortion ban.

I never was, I just think that decision should be left to the people in each state, and let them vote on it.

In the context of left wing progressives it’s okay, but in the context of republicans it’s wrong. I’m not one of those people you refer too. I think I got it loud and and clear.

Yes. The left wing is good and Republicans are bad. That’s literally true. Thank you for finally understanding.

Judging by the destruction and scorched earth policies of this admin. over the last year and a half, it would seem the public doesn't think so

This article is farcical on its face. It’s written by a woman for an organisation of bishops who do not believe she should be a bishop.

Please. One time. Think.

So the audience of the inciting comment was LGBT++++ activists. Being asked to take some action.

what can they do about a Supreme Court decision except violence and intimidation of those who they disagree with?? Why were these specific people activated?

liberals their minds about a “standby” comment. But s “call to arms”? Totally fine- doesn’t meant anything in particular.

Sister, well the next justice on the Supreme Court was unable to define what a "woman" is. So therefore she cannot talk about "womens' rights" or "a woman's right to choose".

This decision, if it indeed comes out as in the draft, will change very little. Abortion will NOT be banned in the US, as some fearmongers try to say. The decision will rightly go back to the individual states to decide. Each will make its own policy. You can bet some will have even more liberal laws than exist now.

They sure aren’t moderate. what else is there? “Semi” left wing?!

No. The Biden administration is pro-capitalism, anti-workers’ rights, and anti-minority. It’s right-wing. It’s just not outright fascist, like the GOP.

How do you feel about a person’s right to choose what they do with their body? Trans men also can become pregnant.

States should not decide. It is the responsibility of the Federal Government to ensure that hundreds of millions of its people do not become second-class citizens on the basis of where they live.

¨Under federal law those citizens have the freedom to decide where to live.

And you’re going to pay for the relocation fees?

Continuing to demonstrate their support for the right to an abortion.

By taking what action?

a call to arms isn’t just talking.
