The country that has perfected the art of abusing the human rights of the Palestinians is trying to present itself as tolerant and cosmopolitan? That's like Donny trying to present himself as intelligent and competent.

Maybe it is because they are trained from birth to despise Israel?

We wouldn't want images of dead Palestinian children spoiling the planet's biggest kitsch fest, would we?

Two million Gazans are being slowly strangled to death by an immoral blockade that has turned Gaza into an unlivable open-air prison camp in what amounts to the world's biggest ongoing war crime and the Israelis are worried about a song contest?

It’s grotesque that Eurovision is more important to Netanyahu than peace.

Don't you love how a mass, peaceful, unarmed protest is described as having 'lead to the death of over 60 by Israeli fire', rather than the Israeli regime effort to crush all protests for human rights resulting in over 60 deaths.

The slave states of the US portrayed themselves as tolerant and cosmopolitan too. And if you were the sort to ignore the violence and misery and death that were visited on its victims, to keep them 'in their place', that is what you saw. Of course, if you didn't ignore those things, what you saw revolted you.

I dunno. Your lands taken, occupied, your homes wrecked, your people murdered, harassed, driven out. Why on earth would anyone despise such an occupation?

Free Palestine.

Israel has the right to defend itself, if the Palestinians stopped attacking Israel they wouldn't be in the problems they are in now - you know like firing rockets into the country or throwing rocks and other objects at Israeli soldiers.

The Palestinians have the right to defend themselves, if the Israelis would stop stealing Palestinian land and hacking up what little bit the Palestinians have, the Israelis would have the problems they have now.

Boycotts worked in South Africa, so why not try them against Israel, or Americans favourite - SANCTIONS.

Yeah, if only they hadn't allowed themselves to be occupied, brutalised and suffer the horrors of Nakba.

Shame on Eurovision. This is not entertainment anymore. This is complicity with the Israeli regime of terror.

Those supporting and attending Eurovision should know they are supporting the murder of Palestinian women and children, supporting the war crimes of Israel and supporting genocide. In future, the performers should be boycotted.

BDS. EU disgraced itself. 18000 Palestinians shot.

Goodlucktoyou: "EU disgraced itself." Because the EU has made itself subservient to the US, because the PEOPLE have allowed their government to become subservient to the US. We need to make our elected representatives more accountable to the people. The EU needs to get a backbone and stop kowtowing to the US.
