The incredible thing is that -- for example -- Wisconsin and Pennsylvania GOP legislators ordered officials not to count postal votes before election day. So, GOP legislators said the votes mustn't be counted before the election. And then the president says they mustn't be counted after the election. As usual they rely on their supporters not to grasp this fact and to fight for it.

This is obviously a conspiracy theory by the left wing media because there is evidence of poll watchers being blocked and not getting access.

Now if only I had that evidence...

Seems like a good idea for some wall funds to be put aside for a bridge.

Conspiracy theorists are among the few groups in the US working harder than the staff in this article.

well its all going to court. So we will see, wont we?

It seems Trump at this point knows he is toast and is just trying to create a "I was robbed" narrative that he can somehow monetize or otherwise use to his advantage after he leaves office in January. This is all part of that charade, with his followers happily participating in it unaware that it is just such a charade.

Its not at all good for US society of course, but I also think it will backfire on him. For one, losing the election will dispel the aura of success that he has and the messier he makes his exit, the greater this effect will be. The longer he draws this out with inane antics and groundless arguments, the bigger the hit.

For another, once he's gone his usefulness among the GOP establishment will go too. He'll obviously leave a permanent effect on the party, but while some form of "Trumpism" will stay, they'll no longer have their horses tied to Trump personally and will probably be relieved to be rid of him.

yep the barrier was moved closer to the front set of tables.

So the people counting the votes just moved to a table in the back more far away from the barrier.

its ok though, all votes are going to be counted again anyway in the presence of both sides and likely the court. All registrations will be reviewed and all votes from illegals, non residents and dead people removed.

This is just like a "pre-count"- to hopefully allow the media to "predict" that Biden won. Its like American football, the ruling on the field is hard to overturn by replay, sometimes they just say its unclear so ruling on the field "stands".

On Thursday, a state judge ordered Philadelphia officials to allow party and candidate observers to move closer to election workers processing mail-in ballots. A spokesperson for the Philadelphia board of elections said barriers were shifted in response to the order while the city appealed it.

What would allow Biden to prematurely claim victory?

I mean you will criticize him for this if he does so while votes are stop being counted, right?

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Didn’t need to find them because won without them. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen and you better hope Dems didn’t do it again. Will definitely be caught this time.

Just like the 3 million illegal votes in 2016 that were never found?

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

What would allow Biden to prematurely claim victory?

By definition if the claim of victory is "premature" then nothing should allow it.

A truth that Trump would have been wise to observe.

And that was you. Until the vote counting could be stopped long enough to inject more ballots in key areas and reverse the media narrative to not give Trump states he has won

you aren’t rioting only because the media assures you they you are Supposedly winning. Let them say you are losing, here come riots.

Why are Trump supporters carrying rifles at the Phoenix count centre?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

You must realize that it would take a lot of extra people to fill out thousands of extra ballots to swing a state dramatically one way or the other. That’s not something even a well organized group could possibly hide. Where would these ballots have been kept in secret? How would they transport them to the counting locations? Who would be trusted enough to fill out extra ballots and not talk about it?

Wow all this Trump hate and complaining....seems our memories are suffering these days. Dont remember 2016 and all the hate directed torwards elected Trump? what followed? Mueller report? Impeachment? 4 years of continuous harassment? Riots burn looting?

Trump deserves this even if he loses. Let him be, you had your tantrums, now he can have his. All this sudden "things are legit" sorry not buying it.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Oh, I’m sorry. Did Hillary call a premature victory in 2016? Did she herself complain that the election was rigged?

Yes, maybe the establishment Democrats complained and moaned, but the candidate herself didn’t. Compare with Trump?

Huh? It's Trump's cultists here who are complaining. We're saying: count all the votes. Trump might have won. We don't know yet.

P. Smith...

“I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.” George Bernard Shaw

“Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”― Mark Twain

“Ignorance is curable, stupid is forever.”― Robert A. Heinlein

I'm tired. I'm tired of my party being subverted into a fascist nightmare. I'm tired of my fellow republicans celebrating ignorance and stupidity. I'm tired of trying to defend their beliefs, and have stopped, because they are indefensible. I'm tired of being lumped in with "my party" in conversations. As a moderate republican, I'm tired of watching the downfall of not only my party, but also possibly Democracy itself. I could not in good conscience bring myself to cast a vote in 2016. Just as I could not in good conscience, NOT vote in 2020. My party is the party of evil, and it has to be stopped. Covid isn't the flu, but thanks to ignorance, stupidity, and ill will on the part of the republican party I've had to see 235,000 Americans die. I would personally like to see all republicans responsible for this lined up and shot as traitors to their country. It won't happen though. The evilness is too deeply entrenched in our government, those responsible will face no consequences beyond perhaps losing their elected position. The fact that many of them haven't already lost their positions sickens me. All of it is due to the ignorance and willful stupidity of republican voters. I can forgive the ignorant if they are willing to learn, but I will never forgive the stupid.

Is Biden/Harris my best choice? Unfortunately, yes.

Fortunately, my conscience is at ease.

Trump and his supporters spreading misinformation.

No, the left is, where was that big blue giant wave? Once again everyone got it wrong, the media and all the pollsters and now reports are coming out that Trump did even better in Texas with Latinos in once was considered a Democrat stronghold, so at best the Dems underperformed and didn’t even come close to breaking their expectations, even Van Jones admitted that and this is why I respect Van, don’t agree with his politics, but he’s usually spot on with his criticism of the left.

And then there is my old friend, Cenk

Only court cases will need actual real evidence.

Seems like Trump’s team has some, so that’s good for their position.

This is the heart of the problem, isn't it ?

It doesn't seem like it's true to me, therefore it isn't true.

It's so easy to fact check any of these issues for yourself, it takes so little effort, or time.

The amount of time it takes to read and respond to posts, let alone making multiple posts could be better spent looking into whatever contention you have for yourself.

yeah I always look in both directions and behind me before I casually open up a ballot, grab a pen and start filling it out.

yes some of the more experienced and wiser MSM pundits are not writing off a Trump loss. There will be consolidation of the repubs position and they will keep Trumps policies in play.

Interesing watching some of the other popular talking heads trying to act like a 3rd party observer, new on the scene just doing their jobs...lol, like they had nothing to do with this, talking about Trump like they have no connection, even though he has been their obsession for the last 4 years

The wiser ones are doing a little damage control, knowing what the outcome might be.

Somebody here was posting Trump voters are redneck or other, but thats ignorant, look at the percentages...popular vote could come down to 40 60 percentages....thats allot of Trump votes even if he loses. Those arent majority ignorant redneck voters many were Latinos and AA.

Only 12 mos ago, Trump had it in the bag. The Dems and media pounced on the COVID op to take him out. People can see the hypocrisy...it is what it is. Mueler and impeachment were failures...COVID was the op. Sure Trumps handling of it was initially no good, but so was everybody elses. What are the world COVID #s today?
