Pompeo wraps up talks in N. Korea without seeing Kim Jong Un

The whole world is demanding that NK denuke. Be nice if America, Russia, China, England, France, India, Pakistan and Israel would denuke too, and Iran quits trying to make them, but oh well. At any rate, Iran is not going to get nukes. Hopefully it won't take a military strike by Israel or the U.S.

This is turning into a rudderless ship.

Attempts at mollifying North Korea are as fruitless as convincing the Palestinians that they should stop trying to evict Jews from Israel. But it seems that American presidents have added reforming the Kim family to the list of things to participate in that will never happen. You cannot rationalize with ideologies that insist on centralized control of people.

Pompeo slept fine because he has no idea what the hell he's doing, and knew his goal of accomplishing nothing would be a success. He slept the deep sleep of a person incapable of deep thought.

As if anyone on this site are qualified or knows what they’re talking about or can do what Pompeo is doing when it comes to NK. The man has a mile long resume. If any liberal thinks they can do better, let’s hear it or can you go and talk to Kim? I mean without appeasement or concession.

Clearly Pompeo and the Trump administration are being played. After Pres. Trump heaped praises on Kim Jong Un following their meeting, the North Koreans realize that the US must maintain a posture of continuing progress in negotiations, or the "Emperor" will be revealed as having no clothes.

A liar goes to a liar, to sell them a lie, but the second liar has got a hidden lie that he will lie about, saying he does not have a hidden lie. Both liars agree to the lies, knowing it is all a bunch of lies. Then the bosses of these liars, who are bigger liars, will lie (or maybe not) saying they are great friends who are trustworthy, but everyone knows they are competing to be the world's biggest liar, next to Putin.

So how does a reliable, honest peace treaty get made, and the Korean peninsula is nuclear-free, and Japan does not have an ongoing threat?

pompeo seeks clarity because t-Rump refuses to do his homework. TrumPeo will be caught equally flat-footed during tRumpy Pumpy's meeting with putin in Finland. again, no aides, no no-takers & no transparency. americans will have to wait for and rely on Russian state media's accounts (read: Russia Today (RT)) to learn about things that the WH will refuse to disclose.
