Like so many other states suffering 'resource curse', much of the profit from selling resources goes outside the country to one or many of the global corporations.

China, Russia and Cuba have also provided support to Maduro's socialist regime.

Does anyone know whether Russia's other partners Iran and North Korea are also involved?

PS, love how someone thinks that the effects of the US stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from the people of Venezuela is the fault of 'mismanagement' by the democratically elected government of Venezuela.
