Jesus' messages were about individual responsibility and not abusing others. The Castro brothers are the dictators who abusing Cubans for their false hope in communism ideology. This Latin Pope is leaning left seems so happy to share the stage with these dictators disguising the notion of peace and love, really? The inner solidarity of the Pope is in full display as Obama is awaiting his arrival. ABUSING A BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SIN, especially of abusing a powerful position one is in! The canonical Bible has been interpreted in many ways in the eyes of beholders..

Why do popes feel the need to legitimize this creep by meeting with him? Did the Pope ask why someone choosing to leave Cuba is deemed an escape?

@Bgood41"The Castro brothers are the dictators"

Those, who established trade embargo, were and are much worse than the Castro brothers.

I remember them being about giving all you have to the poor, despising the rich and non-violence. Plenty of hypocrisy around from those adoring money and bombing the living daylights out of countries they don't like.

Let's not corrupt the message.

It is going to be interesting when both Castros are gone, which will be soon. The billions have to go some place, and then the truth will be revealed.

An historic meeting between senior representatives of two of the most life-blighting and impoverishing ideologies in the history of civilization.

@Alan I completely agree. Both ideologies are based on man made myths and fictions. For some reason many people need these, which is fine, until the extreme believers feel the need to try to convert others.
