Why call for his resignation when they can fire him for misconduct while in office. An employee would get fired in the private sector for not towing the company line, so why should government workers get any leniency. F*@cken circus!

They can't "fire" him for anything. He's was elected to his office by the voters. His constituants can refuse to vote for him in the next election.

The U.S. House of Representatives can vote to impeach him and the U.S. Senate can then hold a trial and kick him out of office if they find him guilty.

Another option would be for the House to remove him from any Congressional comittees. They could also censure him (bad Weiner).

The Democrat party can reduce the amount of campaign help or funds he's given or refuse to give him any help or funds.

As it is, none of his fellow Congressmen are currently willing to sponsor a bill with him or even appear in pictures with guy. Everyday there are plenty of new pictures and women coming forward to tell their story.

This guy's toast. I personally think they're making a whole lot of something out of nothing -- immoral as the man appears to have acted -- but either way the media have latched onto it and won't let go until this guy does first.

Ah, the porn stars have arrived in the story. I suppose it was just a matter of time.

From the start this whole thing has been very fishy. Not the truth about what Weiner did mind you, but the facts of how this is all getting out. No one is pressing legal charges over what Weiner did. So how are these women's names known? And now one is threatened?

This woman asked Weiner what she should do. He suggested lying. I have no problem with that. She asked for an opinion, she got one. Weiner has every right to lie to cover up his private correspondence, and he has every right to suggest lying to someone who asks. But how did her name come up at all? Who threatened her? Why is this non-news old story being kept alive?

I suspect Breitbart, a man who has already blackmailed and threatened Weiner, is behind it, sneaking around behind the scenes and over the internet. As ever, I think the real story is the malicious smear campaign. As far as the sex scandal goes, its so ridiculously mundane. There was not even any sex!

Weiner needs to go back and read the story of Icarus. He, like Icarus was flying too high with his wings of wax. What brought Weiner down was not Breitbart, but those in his own party. Weiner was used as a Dem "hitman" with his loud mouth to argue with the right on many issues. But he strayed from the path when Weiner stated that Obama was wrong for ssaying tha tIsrael should go back to the 1967 borders. Among his many stances, Weiner is a huge supporter of Israel.

In my opinion, that is probably what made him all of a sudden become expendable. Remember, Gov. Elliot Spitzer of NY was also a favorite of the Progressives. But he started to get too close to busting up the traders on Wall Street for some of their activities and startedl launching state probes into some of the goings on, and then all of a sudden we find out that he is customer "#9" in his own sex scandal.

My opinion is that the Dems knew what was going on, and when he started to stray too far from the "path" they had to put him in his place. Even if he doesn't resign, that loud voice for Isreal is now gone. They have plenty of others to take over the rest of his Progressive rants.

Weiner's online conduct is disgusting and his lies about it were inexcusable. He has compromised his ability to be an effective leader and cannot escape the fact that his irresponsible behavior, and the lies are indefensible and have done great harm on many levels. Nobody wants the congressman to disappear more than President Obama. In my view, members of the Congress should support the ouster due to the high responsibility of the country to uphold a high standard in the Congress of the United States of America. His behavior is bizarre and unacceptable and now public policy poll indicates that 60% of Americans wanting the comedian to resign. Only 8% have a favorable opinion and 70% have a unfavorable view. The kinky congressman reportedly offered the ex-porn star Ginger Lee professional public relation assistance - somebody from his'team". Weiner also told her if neither of us said anything over the weekend the story would calm down and die. Ginger Lee could help push him out of Congress and is ready to cooperate with house ethics probe if asked. Hence Wieners real problem is that he lied to the American people and even his wife. Weiner will resign. I can promise you that he will step down because it's the right thing to do. You can never feel right doing wrong. Your conscience will catch up with you. So Mr.Weiner don't lie anymore because it creates a bad impression and makes its difficult for other people to trust you.

That would be Obama, Pelosi, Reid and Wasserman Schultz who are hounding Weiner. Maybe Weiner shouldn't have hung out with such bad company.
