Promising two weeks of free rent and hardship payments to the residents, Andrews said public health workers would test every resident of the buildings, except those who have previously tested positive.

Below is from another article:

Mr Andrews said there would be no rent for two weeks for the residents in the nine towers locked down on Saturday. Residents who are employed would receive a $1500 hardship payment and those not employed a $750 hardship payment.

Also, on TV the authority is helping the residents to buy groceries and supplies. $1,500 for staying 5 days at home, 2 weeks of free rent and people buying groceries for you. I am sorry but it sounds pretty good to me. By the way I work my ass off everyday and do not get paid this much.

He should put the whole state into lockdown and surrounding states should close their borders. Anyone who still believes that lockdowns don't work and that this isn't serious should be sent to a facility with all the world's antivaxxers where they can start their own completely isolated colony of nitwits.
