Good on both South Korea and Germany.

Germany's led and has long been led by Dr Angela Merkel, a woman with an academic background in physics and a PhD in quantum chemistry.

It should be expected that countries with leaders who understand science would fare better than say a country led by someone whose claims to understanding science would just be another of the 124 - 18,000+ 'misinformations' told to date.

“Germany’s coronavirus death toll has risen to 5,094, the country’s center for disease control, the Robert Koch Institute, said on Thursday. That’s an increase of 215 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Germany has reported more than 150,000coronavirus infections, according to Johns Hopkins University.”

kind of overly congratulatory with those numbers. Almost as many deaths in 1 day as Japan has total.

Good grief, what a puff piece. Fact is, Berlins authoritarian rules raise concern in Germany too, and the country's economy can not withstand an extended lockdown either. The article looks like another weak attempt at Trump bashing. Just fwiw, Sweden with its extremely relaxed approach is not doing worse than Germany.

....also an East German communist party member, informal agent for the East German security services, masterfull background manipulator, liar, backstabber, law breaker, and fanatic globalist. Yeah, just what your country needs.

You are correct that she is pushing the authoritarian measures in Germany, which many are dismayed about, including a growing number of virologists. But I guess they don´t mention that at CNN, do they.
