I can't climb the ladders in a warship like I used to and I probably would have a hard time doing a pre-flight inspection on my old helicopter as it involves some serious climbing and agility, but with age comes experience and wisdom. Mr. Biden has seen things the younger generation has not, and knows the lessons of history better than much of the younger generation. He sees parallels to past events in what is happening today that too many younger people do not see. He speaks about the world being at an inflection point. He knows the history of 1938 and the lead up to WWII. He also understand a lot better than may Republican candidates why the US and the Allies established the post war institutions like the UN, World Bank, IMF, European Common Market (that became the EU in time) and NATO, all those organizations the right disparages and that the right advocate the US abandon. It was that same blind isolationism that set the stage for WWII. Mr. Biden sees that and he see that if the US doesn't lead right now and make the right decisions we are going to descend into another bloody and tragic war.

But oh he's old. Yes he is but he has made good decisions on the direction this nation needs to take to secure its future. I don't care if he is a little forgetful at times, and obtw he is a stutterer which makes public speaking really hard to do. When it matters he has made good decisions for us and his heart is in the right place.

So all the MAGA stars and supporters this morning are happy to learn Biden is no longer running in the elections. What they have wanted during the past year.

That type of vitriol from the Republican and MAGA crowds including the White supremacists that were chanting "We like Hitler, We like Trump" at the convention will remind the country who they will be getting if Trump is re-elected.

Harris's ancestry will make her a target from the same people attacking Vance's wife. They are both apart of the same ancestral community.

Will that community mostly vote for the wife of the VP or for the woman who would become the first female US president partly representing their community?

The delegates have not voted in your candidate officially for POTUS.

Though I will admit there is no law on the books for this situation because no sitting US President has never dropped out of the race so late in the game. So, seeing Dems had no official Nomination. That was to come in early August. I will readily admit my accusation of the laws being broken was half cocked and unfound. I was wrong. But we will see pollical wrangling on the state level. And I bet when you Democrats release your nominations in August. There will be contesting of the ballots on a state wide levels. Look to Ohio for such mitigation and contesting.

However, It will not matter. Trump will win the Oval office.
