One would think the language rights matter in Ukraine would be easy enough to resolve. Free speech implies to me one may speak whatever language they chose to speak, though that often grinds the gears of nativists/nationalists. Hungarian objections to Swedish ascension to NATO are more difficult to fathom. Victor Orban has systematically dismantled many democratic institutions in Hungary and more often seems like the Russian ambassador to NATO and the EU and less like a western democratic leader. Just my humble opinion.

good move Viktor.

there is no hurry at all.

Hungary should be suspended from the EU.

It's going to happen no matter what Russian supporting commentators fear.

"Hungary had been “deceived” by a European Union plan to allow Ukrainian grain to transit across Hungary after shipments across the Black Sea were hindered by the war with Russia, and that shipments of Ukrainian products ostensibly bound for Africa had been sold in Hungary for lower prices, pressuring domestic producers. “Brussels claimed that without Ukrainian grain, serious famine threatened African countries,” Orbán said. Let’s say it straight: They deceived us.”

An inconvenient truth.

Orban is one of the few sane politicians left in Europe.

And NATO.

Fat chance. Think the US lets anyone out, once they have their bases and missiles there?

Nato should have been dissolved 30 years ago.

Only if Russia were dissolved 30 years ago.

There's no reason to hold it up neither (like really, what is there?)

It's going to happen, may just as well get it over with and move on to other issues
