Pushing it a bit to call the royals 'rulers', it's been a while since they held dominion over Britain let alone Australia. Ozzies have the right to a republic if they want it. The politicians could cut the bulls**t though eh?

50% of Britons aren't that thrilled about him, either.

Only 27 percent opposed replacing Charles

I'm a Brit who favours the outright abolition of the monarchy but it's pretty hard to dislike this queen. As Jeremy Paxman, a lukewarm monarchist put it, her genius for not doing or saying controversial or even remotely interesting is quite impressive. However, this character has a long record of half-baked ideas, sticking his nose into politics and trying to influence politicians. Expect the support and respect for this institution to take a nosedive when this spoiled, silly man becomes king.

Throw in a cuckold divorce, an inability to manipulate an iphone and no idea about the future. Classic baby boomer. Bleeccch.
