It's now become apparent that Meghan and Harry Markle registered the brand name Sussex Royal in order to sell merchandise more than six months ago. This whole underhanded venture has been carefully planned.

They don't want the responsibilties that come with being a Royal, but they do want: Frogmore Cottage (£2.4 million of British taxpayer's money was used to renovate it), personal protection by Scotland Yard, the Royal titles and lots of money from Charles to fund their lavish lifestyle.

I guess they won't be paying back any of the taxpayer money used for their wedding either (around £32 million by the way).

The Queen and the rest of the royals will end up offering a diplomatic solution, but it won't matter to the British people. Meghan and Harry have shown themselves to be unappreciative spoilt brats.

Sometimes, not always. I sometimes stand up for women too. I try to judge things on their own merits.

Its hard to really know the Couple, as the Tabloids and so called experts keep telling us what they deem as being the inside stories... Geez... can you imagine the same for your own lives ?

If the Couple wish to retreat from Royal Duties and take a lower profile, then good on them, they chose Canada ... an interesting choice. I guess it was coin toss between Canada and New Zealand - two of the most respectful Countries at present. (The UK hardly fits that bill at present).

I wish them the best of luck in the future. And hope that they can focus upon their own relationship rather than the fake facade for the benefit of the Tabloids. And perhaps, they will then have, a lasting relationship. Which, the Queen, as the Head of a Religious Church - the Church of England, should be respectful of.. so yes, she's proverbially caught between a rock and a hard place too, but should do the Honourable thing, which I am sure she will do...

Oh come on. Nikki Haley is the early leader for president in 2024 among Republicans. Yes it’s true that an inordinate number of non-white women lean Socialist but there are plenty that do not. So what? I would take Haley over all of the Dems and Trump. By the way, all women are women of color as all races are of color. You are minimizing white women with your rhetoric.

The Trump family are not part of a monarchy, this woman has singlehandedly put a rift between Harry and his family, especially the Queen. The woman is unappreciative, ungrateful and it’s just sad after she was accepted with open arms as a foreigner into the royal family, now having said that, she and Harry can do whatever they want, I really don’t care, but as an outsider, I think the woman is selfish and inconsiderate.

That is only partly true! Henry or Henri after (William of Normandy descended from the Vikings who settled in France conquered England) derives from German "Heinrich". Heinrich or more modern Henrik/Hendrick means ruler of the house.

The most common nickname for Henry is Hank. Harry is more British because it also a nickname for "Harold" which is Old English. Harold means leader of the army.

The British royal family is descended from the Germany like the Japanese royal family is descended from Korea.
