"Great Britain is not part of Europe...."

It's a part of the UK, and the UK is a member nation of the European Union. So actually it is a part of Europe.

'I'm surprised "Royal's" still speak on behalf of Europeans, it's like Al Sharpton speaking for American's'

Royals don't speak on behalf of the French or the Germans to name but two countries without monarchies in the very diverse continent called Europe.

LAcajun, Great Britain is not part of Europe....never have been, so they don't speak on behalf of anyone in places like Germany, Italy, Spain, or any other "European" country.

Great Britain encompasses England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.

And yes, the British royals do in many ways still represent British citizens.

The Prince deserves a lot of respect for carefully and respectfully picking his way through the chinese elephant house. He is not just a diplomat but a very likeable person who is able to show that empathy can be bestowed across borders.
