There was a TV show where cops couldn't access there guns without remove approval. Looks like that is necessary until they stop killing people.

But everyone, black, white, green, purple, rainbow needs to learn to do what cops say, don't fight, don't leave a scene until they say you can. The time to deal with cops is with your lawyer, later. Not in a street where being shot can happen.

Once again police are called to a domestic dispute and act like they just arrived at a murder spree and wanted to get a piece of the action.

As usual its hard to get an unedited version of the video but its insane that one of the cops had his gun drawn and pointed as he followed at close range a clearly unarmed man from one side of an SUV to the other. What happened you over-grown man child? Someone not respect your authoritie?

There are basically two kinds of police in America. The untrained and the corrupt. And both love to rush into a scene, make it worse, brutalize or kill someone, and then claim the suspect was "resisting" or "reaching" or "that baby bottle resembled a knife" as an excuse.

And yes, the cops have done similar to white people but white people tend to either excuse it or shrug. Black people are not having it. Thus BLM and riots. And this is not going to change until the people with power (white people) reform these crooked and/or idiot cops or black people take the dominant positions and do it.

Do you know how many Cops are killed or wounded by thugs going into their car to get a gun every year....A lot ,,,,48 overall deaths by gun in 2019

Cops barely made the top ten most dangerous jobs in America according to fatalities according to a source I found. Other sources don't even put them in the top 10 at all. From the most down is Fishing, logging, aircraft piloting and engineering, farming/ranching , coal mining, roofing, garbage collection, delivery driving, and only then policing followed by taxi driving.

Where do you get your statistics? Fox propaganda or Officer Down? Do you have a link the Pizza Delivery Boy Down Home Page? No, even though they get killed on the job more. There is no page because people like you are too busy defending police barbarity and don't care if your pizza delivery boy lives or dies.

The rate of homicide of police is less than for the general population. And if this all too much for those blue babies they should not only pick a different job, they should leave the country and move someplace safer.

Jacob Blake is still alive and in serious condition. I hope he survives.

God I hate it when people act like this only started under Trump. America has had this sickness since birth. Its a congenital defect.

Yes he is still alive and I hope he survives.

God I hate it when people act like this only started under Trump.

No one said it started under trump, but is being made into a race issue under his rule.

Violent protests erupted in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the police-involved shooting of a black man, identified by Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) as Jacob Blake. According to reports, police were responding to a “domestic incident.” Several witnesses say Blake was attempting to break up a fight between two women “and that police had attempted to use a Taser on the man prior to the shooting,” according to Kenosha News.

All you have done is dig your hole deeper. It was you that said; "trump's America is the most unsafe place for minorities now!" It has very often been the most unsafe place for minorities all through history if we can say it truly is now. Having Donald Trump as president has not made much difference. Its not like we got another round of the Tulsa race riots, kidnappings for racial slavery complete with whippings, or Jim Crow era lynchings. In fact, its less about race now than ever and its now more about culture.

You would do much better to disown your prior statement than attempt to defend it.

I have 2 thoughts guaranteed to make both sides angry.

1) The cops tell you to stop, you stop. In this environment what do you think will happen?

2) Deadly force is only used when the subject represents a direct threat to the officer or the immediate public. This man was clearly unarmed Non-compliant to be sure, but he did not represent a threat. according to the police manuals, you NEVER Shoot a fleeing subject in the back.

He wasn’t even the subject of investigation. THE MAN CALLED THE COPS TO BREAK UP A FIGHT.

7 times. At nearly point blank range. In the back. This is bad (criminal) proceeder. This is bad policing. the difference is he is a private citizen who made an objectively bad decision .

The cops are entrusted to act with good judgment. They clearly failed

Don’t you just love how the cops are called to a fight between two white women and an unrelated black man still gets shot?

“As always, the video currently circulating does not capture all the intricacies of a highly dynamic incident,” Pete Deates president of the Kenosha police union, said.

Translation: “We haven’t had time to come up with a plausible excuse, so please take my word for it that there were ‘intricacies’ instead of believing a video you just watched with your own two eyeballs. As a police union rep, it’s my job to protect all cops, no matter how disgusting, and it’s really hard for me to do that when you keep watching video of the actual incident. So please believe my nonsense. Please? Pretty please?”

Except that is not what happened. The videos of the incident show a different scene. But on your mainstream media they just tell you the version that meets their narrative.

Meanwhile, details have emerged about Blake's criminal past, including a recent arrest for sexual assault.

According to online records, Kenosha County prosecutors charged Blake with third-degree sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse. It was unclear whether that case had anything to do with the shooting.

In 2015, Blake was also charged with resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon after he pulled a gun at a local bar in Racine.

Well now, just look at all the people scrabbling to justify trained police officers shooting a man in the back, firing at least seven shots.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Why are you trying so hard to paint Blake as deserving of being shot in the back six or seven times?

Because, he was a known felon, a criminal, with a domestic violence charge and a domestic sexual abuse charge, a previous charge of using a firearm, had a warrant out for his arrest, and resisted arrest.

You don’t let these types criminals walk back to their car and get something.

The following is from Rev. Dr. Frank Thomas.

If you don't want police officers to shoot you, don't resist arrest.

10 Rules of Survival if Stopped by the Police

1. Be polite and respectful when stopped by the police. Keep your mouth closed.

2. Remember that your goal is to get home safely. If you feel that your rights have been violated, you and your parents have the right to file a formal complaint with your local police jurisdiction.

3. Don’t, under any circumstance, get into an argument with the police.

4. Always remember that anything you say or do can be used against you in court.

5. Keep your hands in plain sight and make sure the police can see your hands at all times.

6. Avoid physical contact with the police. No sudden movements, and keep hands out of your pockets.

7. Do not run, even if you are afraid of the police.

8. Even if you believe that you are innocent, do not resist arrest.

9. Don’t make any statements about the incident until you are able to meet with a lawyer or public defender.

10. Stay calm and remain in control. Watch your words, body language and emotions.

I watched that video, it showed Jacob Blake resisting arrest with two cops trying to restrain him, it then showed Jacob Blake break away from the cops and begin moving around the front of his car. All the time that Jacob Blake was moving around the front of the car the cops, that he resisted and broke away from, were pointing their guns at him and telling him to stop and get on the ground. The video then went on to show Jacob Blake failing to comply with the police demands opening the door of his car and reaching in.

Jacob Blake has an open arrest warrant for domestic violence and sexual assault and an arrest record that includes resisting arrest, firearm charges.

What I saw was the police attempting to execute an arrest warrant and the subject of that warrant resisting arrest, assaulting the police and attempting to flee. Believe it, when the cops ran the plates on his car they not only verified that the fugitive subject of the warrant was present, but also received all the information about his prior arrest, for illegally possessing a concealed firearm and resisting arrest resulting in injury to police officers. So you have a guy that has a history of resisting arrest and carrying concealed firearms who is resisting arrest and reaching for something out of sight.

Is everybody supposed to disregard the circumstances of this event?
