Putin's Russian Federation and Xi's Belt and Road merging must surely please the far right and the fossil establishment.

Considering how things are going, their bond will only get stronger and become more reliant on each other in order to weather the sanctions. I wonder if it truly was a good idea to ask them to join the UN all those years ago. Therefore giving them veto rights. Not a single important decision manage to get pass after that because both of them are part of the 5 security council.

If you ask me, if one day things truly come to blow, Russia will hit Ukraine while China will hit Taiwan at the same time. North Korea might even attack the south too. Completely causing confusion and making it impossible for the west to react because they would be afraid of several fronts. Now that would be one hell of a sight. If they can get Iran on board for Isreal, i am pretty sure by then things will truly get crazy.

All it take is just a few days to completely storm through the obstacles and settle things before anyone can even react. While the world governments would need days to pass a resolution and even come to a agreement. Now isn't this a very scary scenario.

nstead, they touted "whole-process people's democracy"

Whole process people' sounds like a method of pureeing a large percent of the population at a time. I wonder whether the CCP eould dose them with Fentanyl first or if they might think that would be a waste because they make so much money shipping the stuff of to the 'west'.

Seems pretty clear that Putin and Xi are considering an axis of power against the US and the West.

Archaeologist around the world rejoice.

In your language do paleontologists and archaeologists do the same thing?

China and Russia have many issues they are in conflict on....but they have one overarching goal that unites them.....re-elect Trump or a similar autocrat-friendly Repub that will reduce the US's presence around the world and allow them to both be "great"....

Trump acted like Putin's Poodle and did nothing but praise Xi, even congratulating him when he twisted the law to allow him to serve for life....

Putin and Xi will both continue to up the pressure on the Biden admin - aided and abetted by the Repub party....

Remember that when you vote in 2022/24....

President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday hailed Russia's "model" relations with China in a call with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and confirmed he would attend Beijing's Olympics,

I guess he will be the captain of the Russian Ice Hockey team.

That's one way of ensuring a 'Gold Medal'!!!

"if you ask me, if one day things truly come to blows, Russia will hit Ukraine while China will hit Taiwan at the same time."

Agreed. After all, Russia already did something like that before when Hitler and Stalin both invaded Poland at the same time dividing it in half. That all changed later, of course, when Hitler broke his promise and partnership with Stalin and invaded Russia soon after. It probably wouldn't surprise anybody if Russia and China eventually turn on each other. Their partnership is based purely on greed, power and conquest of the weak, just as it was once between Hitler and Stalin. Russia and China are both behaving like throwbacks straight out of the bad old days.

Hmm, this sounds more like NATO..

the inability of the current administration in the US to properly establish and manage foreign relations with China or Russia has led to them teaming up against us all.

Totally agree dear sir, no one can match the former guy in genuflecting to putin and xi!!!

And yet, Xi’s old friend Biden is reluctant to make any moves towards his friend particularly concerning Taiwan.

Considering the former guy praised xi for his Covid response and 'transparency' I might guess he was xi's bosom buddy.

Yup and the outlook for the left at this point looks very, very bad.

The fringe right is facing prosecution and prison time for their role in the failed coup, so I think elections are the least of their worries!!!

Instead of finding amicable ways of thawing the already heated animosity between US and Sino-Russia, US seeks the reverse, antagonizing them further.

China & Russia have to join hands firmer to counter US negative and unfavorable moves..

President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday hailed Russia's "model" relations with China

Model for what? Ways of committing genocides!!!!

The U.S. and its allies have for weeks accused Russia of planning an invasion of its ex-Soviet neighbor Ukraine, warning of massive coordinated sanctions should Putin launch an attack.

This administration in watching Russia invade Ukraine. Putin knows who he can push around.

President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday hailed Russia's "model" relations with China

I don't know why the US can't get along with China and Russia. We have model relations with Russia and China, and then we have the US president being an old friend with China's premier. The transitive property should function here somehow.

“He’s now president for life, president for life. And he’s great,” Trump said, according to audio of excerpts of Trump’s remarks at a closed-door fundraiser in Florida aired by CNN. “And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday,” Trump said to cheers and applause from supporters.

Anyone disagree that being able to become leader for life is not great? It's insignificant?

A temporary situation that will change when one or the other does something along their shared border that the other considers encroachment. It has happened before and will happen again.

The current good relations are to double team against the US in the hopes of a death blow to it and the western dominance of world order and universal freedoms.

The world has a choice to make. Freedom, law and order versus repression, censorship and coercion.

exactly, we have a president that is weak when it comes to foreign policy and especially when it involves China in particular and Russia to lesser extent, this president will not do anything and will allow and capitulate to these two countries and there is no doubt that both of these leaders are taking advantage of Biden. I predict that China will indeed attempt to try to invade Taiwan probably after Olympics and Russia who knows, it could be any day now and this president is not going to do a thing about it, and this administration thinks that it can win next year‘s midterms? They are completely delusional, but this is today’s Democrat party.

Trump praised both Putin and Xi. Secret meetings with them both.

UK leaders for the past three decades had secret meetings with USSR leaders,

Hence, the great number of British spying for the Soviets.

Just a terrible number of traitors.
